I had high hopes for this hole in the wall restaurant after looking at the review.I ordered the lamb plate, but it was a huge disappointment. The lamb is not gamey, but certainly lacks flavor. Potato ain't bad, but it looks better than it tastes.There are a lot of options in this neighborhood. If you want something fast, this is the place.

By far, these freshly made falafels are the best I have ever tasted in my, not so short, 50 years of life. The vegetarian plate is chock full of gorgeous flavours, from the smooth and perfectly balanced hummus to the crunchy on the outside, soft and delicate on the inside falafel. The lemon roasted potatoes are exquisite. Even the rice has an impressive aroma and perfectly spiced melody for your palate. If you love Mediterranean food, you will love this place. Could not recommend more.

The beef shawerma wrap was delicious. The portions were just right.Vegetarian options: Falafel is a 100% vegetarian meal.Kid-friendliness: The shop is small. I wnt in with 3 kids and had to join two tables out of the four or five available.

Nice place for a quick bite to eat. I think it would be way better earlier in the day. I had the last bit of lamb shawarma right before closing. Great flavour but a tad dry, but that’s due to my late dinner time.

They have the halal sign and the owners told me they get the meat from Shams Halal Meat. When I contacted Shams owner, he told me he never supplied meat to AlHadbah. You shouldn't play with peoples religious believes.If the meat is not from Halal sources, I kindly request you take down the halal sign. Thanks.

One of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in Vancouver. The food is always so good, portion sizes are great, and their prices are good compared to other restaurants nearby. Sometimes they are sold out of certain meats or not available so if you're really after something specific maybe call before going in to make sure they have it. My husband loves lamb and sometimes they wouldn't have it when we'd stop by. Love this place

I came here at 4:15pm and unfortunately it was absolutely terrible. The man working there didn’t seem like he wanted to be there, mood was very somber.The best part about the dish was the chicken shawarma, which was only 3/5 at best. The rest: salad, rice, and potato was absolutely terrible. Especially the potato, it was very sour and tasted like it’s gone bad. Extremely poor value.I hate to leave negative comments but there are much, much better Shawarma around this neighborhood.

I got takeout from here. It was amazing chicken shawarma! I got the plate, which is big enough to share but I sure am glad I had it all to myself. The chicken was delicious, as was the salad, the labneh, the rice, and this awesome roasted potato!! What a meal!!The price is SO reasonable, in general, and especially because of the amount of food they give you.I will be back for sure - either to try more things or to just get this same amazing dinner I had. I don't often give 5 stars but this place is awesome!
