The minute you walk in everyone is so warm and friendly. The food and the drinks are really good. The best dining experience I have had on Granville island. Highly recommend this place. Go check them out and pretend you are somewhere in Mexico. :-) I love the decor as well.

Super cute vibe in GI. I’d rec rezos as there was a long line but we didn’t have to wait because we had made them. Our server was fun and cheeky and everyone was helpful. I was disappointed in the pico and chips but hubs liked the guac. The pico was served in a tiny cup and could have been more flavorful and the chips tasted burnt. I’m not sure if that’s how they make them because all the ones waiting to go to tables looked the same dark color. The corn was served as a sort of soup, so different than expected, but very tasty. We loved the ceviche and I devoured my steak tacos. They were out of the halibut tacos so I guess I’ll have to go back to try them.

Incredible food, fun atmosphere, and friendly service! I had the shrimp rajas and it was pure deliciousness. Everyone in our group loved their food too.Parking: There is a garage and some other spots where you can pay to parkKid-friendliness: If you have chicken nugget kids don't bring them here.Wheelchair accessibility: Seemed to be accessible

I was here for “Taste of Hits” events with some friends. Food and atmosphere were great! The service however was very disappointing. Given that it was a busy event we were relaxed about it…Until the server spilled soup all over my furry coat when clearing our table and ran away with only a meek apology. I waited but she didn’t come back with anything to help clean it up. I had to use my used napkin. Later again, clearing our drinks she dropped another item on me. Accidents happen and I am understanding but when the bill came there was no mention of what happened and no effort to make amends. I emailed their manager and they offered me was 10% of my next bill and to let them know when I’ll be coming. This is a let down nor it will cover dry cleaning. Disappointed with the level of care, nor do I want to have to organize this discount myself and email when I’m coming again. You can keep your $5 or $6.

I recently had a bad experience in this restaurant but they addressed my complaint and listened to me. Marc the manager of the restaurant got back to me quickly and gave a solution to the situation quickly. Thank you for that!

My first time visiting Granville Island, trying this restaurant. I chose the halibut tacos and they were absolutely delicious. It was only 2 tacos but the portion size of the fish was large. The flavours were there. I left full and happy. Will be recommending and coming back myself.

The food was okay, but not really up to par after just returning from Southern California and having some really good Mexican down there.Service and atmosphere wins the prize. Started to go downhill right off the bat when the table beside us had to actually get up and begin to leave to get their bill.Once our mains came the server began to move the empty table beside us from one side of us to behind me. As I was taking a mouthful they then actually asked us if we could slide our table over so they could join two tables up for a reservation. The show went on when the party of four that sat there actually got up to get their own water after being seated for some time.Best part was there was empty tables they could have filled.Interesting way of running a restaurant but not one that will ever get me in the door again.
