Came here with no expectations. Food was really high quality. Drinks were delicious. What really stood out was the manager coming to our table a few times to check in and make sure everything was perfect. Nice touch. Would come back again.

The Alouette is an absolute gem on so many levels - fab food, cozy Parisian atmosphere, attentive yet noninvasive service and let's not forget the wines... A return visit is high on the agenda.

First time at this restaurant and we were very impressed. The atmosphere is great for going with friends and date night. We sat upstairs and overlooked the restaurant. Food was excellent and good choices. The staff as mentioned in other posts is top notch. Shout out to Fehmi the manager as he is very attentive to his patrons and makes sure you are enjoying yourself. We will definitely be back and refer to friends.

I’ve been twice now and I won’t go back. Service was ok but the food was so disappointing. Considering the price is as high as it is I was expecting delicious food. The food was bland and over priced as well as ridiculously small portions.

A little slice of France in a big Canadian city. Bouillabaise seafood stew, lamb rack, duck confit, desserts and table service are excellent. We think the frites could be improved. Use the hotel's valet for parking.
Dietary restrictions: Excellent. The staff are very disciplined about asking dietary restrictions before finalizing orders.

I’m happy my guests from England were fully satisfied after dinner at Alouette. We had onion soup, foie gras, beef tartare, rainbow trout, sablefish, lamb, and steak. The selection of wines is great. The crème brûlée for dessert was fantastic. The open kitchen is interesting to watch. It’s a great place for a quiet, fancy dinner.

The service was great but the food was a bit underwhelming. The escargot had a weird after taste, very different from what I had compared to other places. The foie gras was overcooked. Mussels were not plump. They were very tiny and not juicy although the portion was huge. I was hoping the food would be better than this.

We were rudely interrupted during our meal when the server brought the credit card machine and asked for payment. The food was mediocre at best, with my dish duck cassoulet tasting like canned soup. I would not suggest this place to anyone.
