I was here before the renovation, it was really good then, now that they are 100% plant based i thought it would different, nope! Its still amazing!! I highly recommend the fully loaded sammy! The new side they opened is absolutely beautiful! My friend i come with is celiac, she approves ! They really care about the difference between celiac and gluten free diets.

Me and my friend stopped here for lunch today. We were both extremely impressed with the food. It was delicious and beautiful to look at. The cafe has a nice neighbourhood feel and the staff were genuinely friendly and courteous. On top of all that my double espresso was as good as I have had in a while, and there are even some really good books on the shelf if you are dining alone. This is a great place.

Great cafe for breakfast on a vegan diet. Service was absolutely top notch, cash guy was super friendly and understanding of my decision making untimely manners, he also made a great drink! Food was de.li.cious with great ingredients and attention to details. Kitchen staff who popped out once in a while we're all smiling and friendly. Will definitely go back once back in Vancouver!

Great food! Breakfast burger and espresso hit the spot. Nice selection of hot sauces (although not necessarily needed because the burger had an amazing aioli). Machine is well calibrated for the coffee ... Staff are friendly and helpful. Space is amazing, bright and clean. (Small concern about allowing certain customers to dine in with a pet... Please don't allow this going forward)

No MSG No Garlic Foodie
100% plant based and flexible. And finally renovated and reopened - yay! I asked the server what items are garlic free, and the owner/chef came to our table to customized my lunch with me – how awesome is that! I ended up with my very own menu item which I will refer to as my No Garlic Vegan Croissant. Typically, I am not a croissant person. Spoiled by the very best non-vegan Angus-T, the only vegan croissant I currently like is the Feast & Fallow one. But my No Garlic Vegan Croissant AM sandwich tasted good. Everywhere else typically, vegan sandwiches do not meet the DAILY DOZEN requirements of leafy greens recommended by Plant Based Dr. Gregor. Seriously, elsewhere, I had asked for doubled the arugula but the leaves still only increased by less than a handful – mind you, too much arugula tends to overpower the taste. I'm happy to report that the AM sandwich contained more greens, still not enough in my books, but better than most. I love that there was a reasonable amount of kale+arugula tossed with garlic-free pesto sauce. The avocado toast is gorgeous and delicious. We like the ambience of this place and will likely show up more often now that we've discovered them. Incidentally, the food here is more creative than Folke, and there are more to choose from on the menu. I would vote for AM Cafe to receive a star. One of the hardest things for restaurants to achieve is consistency. Often, we would give a great review after visiting the establishment the first time, then during subsequent visits, the food would deteriorate. Not this place. I'm happy to report that AM delivers consistently, the quality is great, and Lindsay remembers my food intolerances! I've discovered the salad, with Lindsay's special garlic-free pesto dressing, pistachios instead of garlicky croutons. Very nice. Even more filling with filet of fish on top. Yum!

My girlfriend is vegan and loves this place, and even though I’m not vegan, I think the food is fantastic too. The staff are super friendly and kind, and the prices are reasonable.
