The food in this place is great. Indian home made, food to die for. Their Prawn Pepper Masala was DELICIOUS and their parotas simply the best.Their mango lassi simple teleports you to the south of India (mmmmmmm). Incredible.We’ll come back many times :)

This place is an absolute gem. I come here to get food after work. And always to go. But the lovely gentleman at the front always greets me with such a smile and warmth and asks if all is good. And trust me after work I need that before I go home to my circus ? The food is phenomenal and clean. Thank you ?

One of the best Dosa spots in the Lower mainland and I have tried many of them.I order a new dish with each visit and come away very satisfied. These folks make the best Rava Dosa in town. My other favourite is the Eggplant Dosa.Their accompanying chutneys and sambar are always fresh, delicious and consistent in taste.Service is always prompt but I have never seen a full house.

It's been several months since I last Google reviewed a place. I've come out of review hibernation out of sheer indignation.I saw Anand Bhavan online and was keen to try it out since I'd always heard good things.But boy was I disappointed with the food. Watered down, tasteless sambhar, oil soaked, soggy puris. But the kicker was definitely the onion cheese masala dosa which contained huge, irregularly cut, heaping quantities of raw white onion, smushed in along with some goopy cheese and flavorless potato curry. It was so terrible that I had to spit it out, and throw the whole thing out. My grandmother is probably rolling in her grave if the item I ate today is called a dosa, as compared to her impeccable ones. Please don't call yourself a South Indian restaurant and please stop serving swill.

Excellent butter chicken. Really great, double thumbs up. I got take out so no dine in knowledge but damn that take out was beautiful.Nice guy at the counter, threw in a free item before I even got there.There's other places in the area but try this one for sure.

This restaurant is A Hidden Gem Located right near an easy accessible location in Vancouver (Kingsway & Nanaimo). Seems to be a family owned business and food exceeded expectations and this is coming from someone from South Asian decent!The owner was extremely friendly was very welcoming. He gave me son loving attention and this made my day as a single mother trying to celebrate Valentine's Day with her parents and a son.Thank you so much for the great service and will return again soon! - Gaya✌️❤️
