We celebrated my daughter first birthday here, and it was such a perfect experience. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful, and the service was amazing from start to finish. What. An. Experience! I visited this restaurant about a year ago and, honestly, wasn’t too impressed back then. But coming back now… what a difference! The food, presentation, and overall experience have improved so much. I tried the ceviche, octopus, lobster roll, and seafood pasta, and every single dish was exceptional. The ceviche was fresh, the octopus perfectly tender, and the lobster roll had amazing sauces, I didn’t even want to add soy sauce. The seafood pasta was beautifully plated and rich in flavor. It’s clear that the kitchen has stepped up in both creativity and execution. Everything looked stunning and tasted even better. On top of that, great service! Our waiter was funny and very knowledgeable, made great suggestions. Definitely worth revisiting if you haven’t been in a while!

We came here to celebrate my birthday with friends and had an amazing experience! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The restaurant even surprised me with a little yummy birthday cake balls and candle, which made the night extra special. Highly recommended!

My wife and I went to Ancora for dinner to celebrate the birth of our twin girls. My wife is vegetarian, so she ordered the cauliflower steak, and I had the sablefish, which is their signature dish. The sablefish was excellent, tender, flavorful, and served on a bed of quinoa with some really tasty fixings. The only problem was the portion, even considering it was a more expensive fish, it was still on the smaller side.

The cauliflower steak was pretty much a whole head of cauliflower with some soya sauce on it and a side of beans. It was cooked perfectly but overall quite simple. The portion was more than enough, though.

The location is great, though it doesn’t have the absolute best view of the water as you mostly see a lot of parked boats. The atmosphere is clean, bright, and white, and has a modern feel. The food was plated nicely, and everything looked appealing.

Overall, the food was delicious and everything was cooked beautifully. We went on a Thursday night and arrived right at 6pm, which is usually peak dinner time, but we were the only ones there. We did feel it was a bit overpriced for what you get. At these price points, expectations are high, and while the food was amazing, it wasn’t quite as good as other restaurants in the area at a similar price points.

We had a human hair in our fries. Quietly let our server know. Kitchen made the dish again. Server was apologetic. Management did not show up to apologize for what I feel is an unsettling issue as it speaks to kitchen hygiene. We would have appreciated some acknowledgment.

What a disappointment!!! Food was mediocre - please google what chimichurri looks like before serving flavored olive oil. The octopus was so spicy you couldnt taste anything, the kids burger is marinated in a spicy sauce! Who does that? Risotto was Ok - 2 glasses of wine for 40!!! Regular wine mind you!!! Service quite mediocre with two young men serving with clearly zero clue about service… if you are charging me over $400 for this I expect A LOT more… maybe thats why the restaurant was empty on a friday night… gotta do better…

Managers and servers were very good with the service. The price of food were a bit skeptical at first but after eating and enjoying food, the prices were justified.Would really recommend this place, and also to check with the server for the specials.

Acevichado was very dissapointing.
The ceviche was bland, it lacked salt and flavor.
The only decent dish was the lomo saltado.
