Came here for a late lunch and it didn't disappoint. Most of the dishes comes with a hot drink (extra cost for cold drinks). I ordered the Hong Kong Style Tea. Pretty good.

The dishes we ordered (in order of pictures) were:
- Salted Fish & Chicken Fried Rice
- Fried Vermicelli with Pork Toro & XO Sauce
- House Special Baked Pork Chop on Rice
- Baked Seafood on Rice with Cream Sauce

The dish that stood out for me was the House Special Baked Pork Chop on Rice as it had 3 different sauces. I believe they were curry, tomato and portuguese sauces ... very yummy!

Will come back if we are in the neighbourhood again.

Thank you for all the years of service. Great food, great place for family and great people. Thank you Mandy and all the nice ladies. Thank you all the owners and wish you all a wonderful retirement. Hope the new management will continue to provide the same quality of service and food to the community! All the best and take care!

Tried the beef stir fry and Thai chicken fried rice. The taste is rich and flavorful.

Interior definitely need an upgrade. Food taste and portion size was better than expected. However, cash only so extremely inconvenient in this day and age. Wish they accepted debit at the bare minimum.

This is the worst restaurant I had ever been. The clerk is impatient and the food not only unpalatable but also expensive.

Good service. Recommended smaller dish size for afternoon tea menu for rice and noodle dishes with lower price. Parking for one hour may be considered to cover to help more business.

I had breakfast A+B. The same noodles were all delicious, but the price was not expensive.

An older establishment. Decent Hong Kong style food. Prices on the higher side compared to similar tier places.

We were craving authentic Hong Kong comfort food. We found Angel Cafe hit the spot! We indulged in the Shrimp with Stir Egg Sauce over Rice Noodles and the Spicy Pork with Eggplant over Yi Mein. Each dish comes with your choice of soup (Russian Borscht, Chinese, or Cream) and a hot beverage (cold options available for an extra cost). So satisfying and generous portions meant leftovers.

It was a bit busy when we arrived about 7:30pm on a Friday. We were quickly seated to last available booth. Their menu is extensive to the point I did not know what to order. My go to is Shrimp with Stir Egg Sauce and it was done really well.

The decor seems a bit outdated and need of some renovation but it was clean. It's a dying breed for simple and good HK cafe in Vancouver.

This is an old school hong kong style cafe restaurant serving up hong kong favourites.

It is inexpensive, almost always packed.

Also an old player in the vancouver ethnic restaurant scene.

Come here for the nostalgia and food but don’t expect 5 star dining.

Great joint for regular eating.

Their hot grill is super worth it.
For $28, you get 3 giant pieces of meat, a whole potato with cream sauce, rice, milk tea, and pudding for dessert.

It’s the best value meal. Better than what other HK restaurants offer for hot plate food.

It’s enough to feed 2 people.

However, their other items aren’t as good of a “value meal”. Like their curry at night doesn’t come with milk tea or soup. And it doesn’t make sense cuz their curry portions aren’t that big either.

You would have to order a separate drink for like $5.

So I would only recommend the hot grill plate food. 👍👍
