Annabelle’s is one of my favourite cafes ever! The interior is beautifully decorated (designed and built by Annabelle and her partner I believe), and the coffee is delicious, I loved the iced americano! The hojicha latte my friend got was also really good, saying this as a hojicha hater. The pastries were also yummy, especially the guava goat cheese hand pie. I arrived around an hour before closing on a rainy day so it was pretty slow and had the opportunity to chat with Annabelle! She is so lovely and you can tell that all the regulars love her! I highly recommend coming to Annabelle’s if you are in the area!

Very cozy shop for pastries and coffee! It’s very small but this adds to the intimacy of the space. The two baristas were both very friendly (I think one of them was actually Annabelle but did not confirm this). Lots of sweet and savoury pastries to choose from, even with a few items sold out. I tried the malted dark chocolate brownie with maltesars and macadamia nuts, a guayaba handpie, and a hojicha latte. The pastries were both delicious and memorable - I loved the malted flavours in the brownie and the combination of tangy guava with creamy goat cheese in the handpie. The handpie is definitely something to try if you like sweet and savoury combinations. The hojicha latte was also very good, and came in a cool handmade ceramic mug.

Cute cafe located in Chinatown. Lots of parking in the neighbourhood but I imagine most patrons live in the area.
The drinks are all excellent (look at the latte art) and the food is NOT TOO SWEET, which is my preference.
The inside is small but they have ample outdoor seating. It is nice to go when the weather is pleasant.
The owner is really nice too!

My new favourite Café in Chinatown.
Everything about this place is unique. Pastries (Maltesers Brownies, Guayaba & Goat Cheese Danish, etc.), Gelato (Sweet corn flavour), Drinks (delicious menu), and even down to its ceramics (handmade, each cup different). The sun streams in perfectly. Neighbourhood feels safe. Always filled with people. Only 4 mins walk from Chinatown station. If you are a tourist exploring Chinatown, you MUST come here. If you are a Vancouverite, do yourself a favour and start this unhealthy addiction. 😆 Haha
I highly recommend. Vancouver has been craving a one-of-a-kind gem. & I think we’ve found it.
The pastries are always so flaky with really nice flavours <3 ive gone several times and the staff are always kind. Got myself a fresh scone and it was so soft and fresh out of the oven.
