I walked into the store, most often having drank bagged tea, coffee and milky drinks from Starbucks. With very limited exposure to loose leaf teas, I did not really know where to begin. But Dominique's attunement with tea helped me discover teas that were *just* right for my palette. It was in my first sip of the first tea that Dominique introduced me to where I had that Aha! moment. Drinking tea with Dominique was more than the act itself, it was a glimpse of a lifestyle, which was truly refreshing for the spirit!

She took the time to ask about my preferences and guided me to Bulang Mountain Raw Pu-erh, which turned out to be perfect. You don’t find this type of personalized service in the city, and it made my experience that much better. Highly recommend both the tea and the exceptional help!

I have to say that I used to be a coffee person but after trying different teas and because of the patience and knowledge of Dominique to offer exactly what I needed, I’ve become a tea person. I can’t wait to travel again to Vancouver and try new types of tea from this place!!! Strongly recommended!

I just left this most amazing Tea House, nestled in this cozy little shop in Marpole. And the experience I had inside, was nothing shy of true hospitality. Immediately.. I was welcomed in, and made to feel like I had come many times before and was meeting with friends.
My questions were answered with a real flare for detail. Their knowledge alone, far exceeded my expectations.. but how welcoming they both were, was far above any industry standards.
We sat down and enjoyed some tea together, we shared stories and I honestly feel like I have new friends in the neighbourhood.
I ended up purchasing some: Monkey Picked Tieguanyin. And I have to say, it is pretty delicious and unique. For their service alone, I rate them 5/5. But for how I felt leaving with my purchase and the new knowledge I feel I have, that is priceless.

I will absolutely be back again. And I recommend that if you haven’t been here yet.. you do yourself a favour and make this place a destination to try in the YVR Marpole Village.

Great service. It feels like a family run business, and they put great efforts to accommodate my requests. When I arrived to pick up my order, they explained to me how to brew their tea and allowed me to try their cold brew tea. Their gift packs are nicely packaged and it's perfect for gifts!
