Artigiano Pender has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots in the city. The space is modern and welcoming, perfect whether you’re meeting a friend, catching up on work, or just enjoying a quiet coffee break.
The drinks are excellent, and I love that they sometimes have creative options beyond the basics. Staff are friendly and keep the vibe upbeat, even during the busier hours.
You really feel the quality in both the coffee and the atmosphere; it’s worth it. Bonus points for the cool little design touches inside that make it stand out from a typical café.
If you’re in downtown Vancouver and looking for a spot that’s equal parts cozy, stylish, and reliable, this is it. Highly recommend!

Excellent coffee, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. Their lattes are perfectly crafted and the pastries are always fresh. Great WiFi for working and comfortable seating. Reasonable prices and consistently good quality. Highly recommend!

The coffee was poorly made and was clearly made from extremely stale beans. I’d never had a flat white that tasted “dusty” before now.

This is not even close to what this was when it originally opened in 1999. Presentation is not artisan. Plates are chipped. No teaspoons. Just wooden sticks. Coffee is mediocre. No soap in the bathroom.
Not Artigiano=not artisan.
Shame on the new owners for ruining a the best coffee place on the West Coast.

I did not like the coffee and neither the service which felt extremely impersonal.

This is my favorite cafe in Vancouver.
It has a clean and cozy interior with a great variety of drinks.
I especially enjoyed the Spanish latte and the matcha strawberry latte
Every time I visit, the staff Selena greets me warmly, and she is always so friendly
