This little gem, located in a quaint old corner of Kitsilano is a too often passed by café, excellent for quiet writing or thoughtful conversation. The coffee is well priced and well poured and the baked goods make for an excellent treat on a cloudy day. Last time I was in they had a breakfast deal for $15 dollars with poached eggs that was worth every penny. The interior is decorated with beautiful art, good seats and a team of lovely baristas who only get friendlier with each visit. It's also clear that ownership has a vested care and constantly strives to improve the business. Artistry is quickly becoming one of my favourite cafés in kits, and with very good reason.

The moment I walked in, I felt the warmth of the space — soft lighting, calm atmosphere, and a gentle buzz of conversation that never felt overwhelming. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and they seemed to genuinely enjoy creating a welcoming environment.
I ordered a flat white and a pastry, and both were excellent. The coffee had a smooth, balanced flavour, and the pastry was fresh with just the right sweetness. It’s the kind of place where you can sit for a while — to read, think, or simply enjoy a quiet moment.
What I appreciated the most was how relaxed and unpretentious everything felt. It’s a café that respects your space while still making you feel cared for. Definitely a lovely spot in Kitsilano, and I’ll be back soon.

Artistry Cafe and Bistro is a must-visit! My family and I recently stopped in for a bite to eat while visiting the area. The new owners are truly wonderful—they made us feel incredibly welcome and provided such warm and polite service. The cafe itself has a great vibe, with a unique touch of artwork from local artists adorning the walls. It was lovely to admire the unique pieces while enjoying our food and drinks. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and tasted so good. I particularly loved the wonderfully refreshing lemonade! We were also pleasantly surprised by how fair the prices were for the high quality of food and drinks. We had a great experience and will definitely be back next time we're in town!

Ordered avocado toast to go. The avocado was brown, placed on top of the bread but the butter was individually packaged. Who doesn’t love brown avocado on dry toast. There was absolutely no seasoning on anything - bland. Overpriced (35$ for avocado toast, coffee and small fruit square bar) for the quality of ingredients. Similar price as Provisions but quality is much much lower.
The majority of the art seems like mass produced hotel art rather than supporting local artists.
The service was kind.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend until the owners improve the food and make the decor more unique rather than just use a name to lure people in to spend money.
Update: Dropped to 1-star. Snarky replies that discredit the customer experience make the experience with this establishment even worse. Shouldn’t have tipped the amount that I did which puts the price well over 30$.
