The food is ok but the service, how should I put it? Odd is the only word I could find, cannot call it rude really but definitely unwelcoming, a lot of judgement I should say? Overall not a pleasant or unpleasant experience but don’t think I’ll go again.

Tried the burger and the omelette, both excellent. The place has a very French vibe: delicious food, charming atmosphere, and zero tolerance for almond/oat/cashew milk requests. Hence had to skip the coffee and went for tea instead, which turned out to be delightfully a great French tea!

Au Comptoir serves delicious French cuisine with fun presentation. Service was good, and the atmosphere was relaxed and not too loud. Great spot for a casual yet refined meal, overall an enjoyable experience.

The service was absolutely terrible! When we were ready to order, the server gave us a nasty look and said, “I’m not ready yet!” The food was pretty average as well, and later they kept rushing us. Since I felt the service was poor, I only left a 10% tip, and the server actually slammed the menu behind us and complained a lot. I’ve never experienced such bad service before—truly an eye-opener.

Food was average. Staff were slightly rude and off putting. I had an anaphylactic attack at the restaurant despite warning the waiter numerous times and being assured no nuts would be in my dessert. Immediately after consuming the dessert I felt my throat swell up. I spent the night in the hospital where they still denied any nuts being in the food. Not sure if the front house staff know what’s in their food or if the kitchen doesn’t do their due diligence in preventing cross contamination. Needless to say I won’t ever return or recommend anyone with allergies to visit unless you want a trip to the hospital afterwards.

My wite and I have been several times over the years. It’s deteriorating somewhat - smaller portions, less tasty food, increased prices. The saddle of lamb was a bit tough, Highlight was the chocolate fondant which was excellent. It was very busy but we won’t be back.

Top experience! Food was incredibly tasty, from the salad to the bread and everything. Every single bite was so flavour and yummy. I like that the majority of things come with a salad! Very refreshing.
Their orange juice is amazing, and the service was too notch! Prices are quite decent too. I’ll be back for sure to try their lunch menu.
