We celebrated our anniversary at Bae Side last night, and everything was wonderful. Savi was an excellent server, attentive and friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. Parth did an amazing job crafting our drinks, they were perfect.The overall atmosphere and service made our celebration truly special. Highly recommend😊

I recently visited Bae-side a modern Indian restaurant that seemed promising at first glance, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The food was okay — nothing particularly memorable. I ordered a risotto and specifically asked for chicken to be added. When the dish arrived, the chicken was missing. Upon pointing this out, the staff apologized but didn’t offer to adjust the bill. Instead, they insisted on packing a new dish for me to take home, even though everyone at my table had already finished eating. I explained that I don’t enjoy eating leftovers from the night before, but they didn’t seem to care. The service was the most disappointing part. Despite the restaurant not being busy, everything was incredibly slow. What stood out most was how the staff served food — instead of placing plates in front of guests, they passed dishes across the table, which felt very unprofessional and awkward. It’s clear they’re trying to present themselves as a modern Indian restaurant, but the service felt more like a very basic, casual eatery. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience.

What an absolutely incredible dining experience at Bayside Vancouver! The food was truly amazing—every bite was a delight. But what made the night truly special was the outstanding service. A massive thank you to Kashish and Tahir for their wonderfully welcoming behavior and for treating us so well. You guys made our visit unforgettable! Highly recommend!

Rarely leave reviews but felt I had to warn others. Great location, beautiful patio - but all downhill from there.
Took 20+ minutes for a simple Lager, drinks severely overpriced. Table of 7 but only gave us 3 waters (odd?)
Meals came out one at a time, 5-10 minutes apart, depsite a few of us having the same dish. Food was mediocre for the pricepoint.
No quality check. Servers tried delivering food/drinks that weren't ordered to our table several times.
One server dropped a tray and other patrons rushed to assist, but other staff stood and watched. Embarrassing to witness.
Several men dressed in suits were wandering around, and seemed to be more focused on chatting instead of supporting their team.
Overall, one of the worst service experiences i've witnessed. Staff were nice enough but it was painfully clear there was no organization or direction.
Avoid, avoid, avoid - they're banking on the location to provide a good experience but forgetting all other aspects.

I had great birthday celebration at Bae side. Parth was our server and he did great job with drinks…. we gave him choice to make drinks for us and he was on point with our taste… highly recommended place.

Renovated from the old Mahoney's pub. Strange ceilings, a bit early for Christmas decor and loud TVs playing the Blue Jays game. Friendly staff but there was just one taking orders, making the drinks, bringing food and the bill so service was slow even on a night that wasn't busy. Food goos. Cocktails ok. $180 for 3 people js a bit too high for a pub. Selling point is the patio but that's closed for winter.

Great location and I think it could be great but sadly just not there yet. The vibes were confusing... a mix of cutesy beach, sport bar, Indian and then currently over the top Christmas decor. All could totally work—it just feels disjointed all together. And prices are super high. Servers were very sweet but no knowledge of wine, didn't pour our glasses for us. Just little things. I really hope they can tweak and make it great though! The location is amazing and in general I do think the Reno's are cute.
