Imagine you are visiting the city and decide to walk and explore and come across this shop with decent reviews.

You are met with Terrible & incredibly rude service, it appears they have a particular clientele they want to serve and if you don’t fit, they will make it known so you leave on your own.

How do we know this? Because the way our group was spoken to vs the other people in the store.

After our incredibly rude interaction with the staff, we just opted to go across the street to another coffee shop, no issues there.

We met Behiste and Ali there, who are the owners of the coffee shop, and they were amazing people! The black tea served in slim-waisted glasses, their baklava, and pistachio cookies were delicious! Next time, definitely try another one of their pastries!

I had always thought about visiting, today was my first time and honestly, I regret not coming sooner.

From the moment we walked in, we fell in love with everything!
We stopped by Bahar on the last day of our trip just to grab something quick, but ended up spending about an hour soaking in the cozy ambiance of this hidden gem.
Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and professional—it truly made the experience even better.
Everything we tried was delicious and made us feel right at home. You can feel the love and care this family puts into every detail. We can’t wait to come back!

I ordered an iced caramel macchiato for 5.99, but received a hot one instead. The worker said they were out of the iced caramel macchiatos (how does that even happen?) and made a large hot one instead. I understand if they were out of product, however a better approach would have been refunding me rather than just giving me something I didn’t want and didn’t ask for. Overall, I did not drink the coffee, it was a waste of money.

Bahar has the best quality Persian pastry but what takes us every day to Bahar, is not the coffee or cakes by themselves, its the vibe!
The smile and hospitality of Bahar staff definitely makes your day nicer!
Thank you!

If you’re from Azerbaijan or Turkey, this place will feel just like home! 🇦🇿🇹🇷 Bahar Bakery is the best spot to taste real Turkish, Iranian, and Azerbaijani culture — from their delicious pastries to the amazing tea with lemon mix, everything feels authentic and full of flavor. The desserts are always fresh, and the team is super friendly and welcoming. You can truly feel the warmth, culture, and love in every bite. Highly recommend! 🧁☕🍋✨

I got a pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) 🥐 and a latte ☕ this morning. People there were nice and smiling, thank you for that!
While the pain au chocolat was really good, the latte on the other end was incredibly hot. The first sip I took burnt my tong...and that hasn't happened in a while so the milk was clearly over steamed! By the time I got home it was still relatively hit and had to wait nearly 30min to be able to drink it. I understand this might just be a mistake and only reflects my experience but from a coffee standpoint that's a no-go for me. Given the number of other coffees around, I'm not sure I'll try it again for that reason and that's a shame as it might just be a one time problem. But I'm a bit disappointed from that experience. I hope this can be improved in the future nevertheless because it's a nice and cosy atmosphere with great and smiling people, all that you need when you get your morning coffee on a rainy day 😊

Everything we bought was delicious!!! Croissants were amazing, as were the donuts. Sadly we found this place the day before we left Vancouver. (Probably saved our waistline though!!)
