In a week I visited Baja Racing three times because I really like the food but last time I was there I order nachos and they came with mayonnaise instead sour cream… when I asked about why mayonnaise they said there was no sour cream. Of course I would prefer not putting anything at all, if you don’t have one ingredient please ask if people would like something else instead.
I ask if they could change them because honestly it tasted terrible with the mayonnaise and they said “there is no more cheese to make another nachos”… at the end they charged me for the nachos 🙃

I have now been at this place twice. The first time was May 23rd. I have driven by this play for about a couple of years and decided to give it a try. When you first walk in you wait and wait for someone to tell you where you can sit. The staff see you but lack to acknowledge you....so you wait or get someone's attention. Once you get seated, you wait and wait again for someone to come to your table. I had to stop someone and ask for a menu, which then one of the servers grabbed from a table adjacent table and gave to us. Then menu was dirty....
Once we were ready, we waited....so I had to stop the server to let them know we were ready to order just for them to tell us that she wasn't our server......so we waited more. I think at this point it was 30 min of waiting.
5 to 10 minutes later the server arrived to take our order. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THIS PLACE WAS NOT PACKED OR BUSY.
Food was average once it arrived. We order a super burrito, tacos, michelada, modelo, churros. As we were eating a live band started playing (good for atmosphere). HOWEVER, we were not even done eating when the server came to us and told us to either pay a cover fee or consume more to stay and listen to a rock band..... between 2 people we were already consuming over $80 within a span of 30 minutes for them to tell us we had to consume more. It was 8pm at this point, so I just told the server to bring me the bill.
I left bothered by the experience, as Google reviews made it seem this place was good. I thought maybe this place was a one off bad experience, so I booked a table for 530pm the following week to watch a soccer game.
The following week I bring my family and friends, and the SAME THING HAPPENS....We waited to get someone's attention...waited 5 to 10 minutes before anyone gave us attention.
We sat down and waited....no one shows up to ask us if they could get us something. By this time we had been there 10 minutes, place was 40% full....staff talking amongst eachother so my party of 8 just decided to leave.
Why we left: 1. Poor service 2. No improvement since last visit 3. Live band with LOUD MUSIC and could not hear or enjoy the soccer game. 4. Tables were moved near us and people were dancing to the live band which was okay, however it was annoying to have people bump into us while we got up to move or walk.
Overall I dont recommend this place. There are better latin places to go to such as El Patron, Mangos, Margaritas etc.

The food is good! We order a dish with a variety of seafood (Shrimp, fish, octopus) it was delicious!
We had a tuna tostada and it was really salty we couldn’t enjoyed it at all.
The aguachile tostada is good and the micheladas too!
I put 3 stars for the atmosphere and service as the washrooms were terrible and dirty. Very bad experience in that sense.

The bathroom in the place was damaged and gave off a very unpleasant smell that reached the table where we were located, the staff's attention is not good, the time to have the food was very long, one of the people at the table asked for a drink that It was never brought to the table and they wanted to include it in the bill, the food tastes not bad but the portions are small for the cost, I honestly would not recommend this place

The day we went, the smell of the bathrooms was unbearable and unbearable... I think that in those conditions no restaurant should open... it took them a long time to distribute the food to us... the service of the waitresses had much to be desired... and the food... nothing out of the ordinary and expensive... I have been to restaurants of equal or much better quality and the service for that amount of money has been excellent... this restaurant is for a debut and farewell visit .. if you are Latino I do not recommend it at all but if you like poor quality and terrible service... you are open to coming to this place I hope those issues improve but I know that as good Latinos that will not happen...

I wanted to love this place, but the experience was a little underwhelming. The food took forever to arrive to our table, and when it did it was just for one member of our party. By the time I had my own food, his was cold and surprisingly, so was my meal!
The staff was nice, but even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded we didn’t feel like we got good service. We told them about our meal being cold and they just ignored us. ?
As a Mexican I love to support Mexican businesses, but I won’t come back to Baja. ?
