Absolute gem in Vancouver, the meals were all very delicious and a perfect introduction to Malaysian cuisine.
Good food and service
I have ordered online mee goreng and nasi goreng but the food taste was too sweet. Tried to call the restaurant several times but no answer. Was very disappointed none of family members enjoyed the food. Thanks
Everything is really hood and tasty! But I love the caramelized sablefish the most! The dessert pisang goreng is delicious!
Me and my husband been here in Vancouver for some time and this is our first dinner out across the street from our hotel. The experience was wonderful treat of celebration after our post transplant stay at VGH!

Great food! We went a few months ago and had great service. Big portions. Only reason why I give it a 4 instead of 5 star is because my mom cracked her tooth on something in the food.

Restaurantji Recommends
Amazing sauces in all their seafood curries (mussels, prawn, lobster, oyster, etc) I love getting the set meal every time. The beef rendang is also really good. I really recommend the eggplant fries, they are a hidden specialty of the restaurant, really good texture, lightly crisp outside and soft inside.

An absolutely delicious dinner out at at Banana Leaf on Broadway. We were in Vancouver for just 24 hours and it was a serendipitous find. Service and atmosphere were stellar, and we are still talking about the food.
Best restaurant in Vancouver.

The food and service were great, and I asked to pack my leftovers for home. Here was the problem. The paper bag they put my food box in smelled like sewage, and I only discovered it when I came home and opened that bag. The smell was so disgusting I had to throw the leftovers away. I don’t know where they keep those paper bags, but it was very disappointing, to say the least.
