A place I have been coming since I was a kid (now in my 30s!), that is as delicious as it is nostalgic. Today, I live in australia but on my way through vancouver on a 10h layover, the only thing on my mind was coming here for lunch. Get the roti, chicken skewers, green beans and ginger fish. None will disappoint. So grateful the menu here has remained the same and consistently delicious for so long đź’•
My 8 year old daughter chose this restaurant on a whim, after I gave a hard “no” to dominos. We were not disappointed. Although a bit pricey, I think, I don’t know anymore, everything is bonkers at restaurants now….anyhow…. My daughter doesn’t love heat but smashed 2 plates of chicken/veg curry and a good chuck of my prawns. The peppers were terrific as was everything else. We left stuffed and with leftovers to go. Would recommend. Would go back.
Update (1/21/25) I came here a 2nd time and it still did not disappoint. My favourite activity here is to still use the sauce from the mussels for absolutely everything. I have also added more photos from my 2nd visit.
