One of the best banh mi I've tried here at a fair price. They have an organized system to serve customers efficiently as well. Highly recommend.

My favourite banh mi spot in the city. Love the fresh bread and the buns are a must as well when they're not sold out.

The banh mi are delicious! I absolutely love it! The iced coffee is very bitter and it doesn’t taste as good, there are better iced coffees out there. I’ve noticed they also increased the pricing as well. Not a big deal.
The reason for the 2 star review was actually because of something I witnessed in the past. I’ve never thought to put a review until now.
A young girl was trying to speak Vietnamese to the tall bald man. It’s clear she’s grown up in Canada and hasn’t been taught by her parents. The man was incredibly demeaning and said “You can just speak English.”
I spoke to the girl, she’s 15…. She’s trying to learn so she can speak to her dad since he’s always working and busy. That’s heartbreaking. I wouldn’t blame her if she chooses to stop learning the language her parents were too busy to taught her. She just wanted to learn so she can bond with her parents. The food is great! The man is unfortunately not. Everyone is kind and respectful but not him.

I'm actually surprised at the popularity of this restaurant. I think it's fine but not top notch by any means.
The banh mi was decent but neither the bread was as crispy as I've seen before nor the filling as nice as I've seen - 3.5 stars.
The real negative was the ca phe sua da. Very disappointing and lack of flavour - 2 stars.
Best Banh mi on Victoria. The cash lady will try to upsell you on absolutely everything. A little annoying seeing what a cow cash this place is,but hey -maybe that's her passion.

Banh Mi Saigon in Vancouver is a popular spot for Vietnamese sandwiches, known for their fresh, crispy, and soft bread, generous fillings, and affordable prices. Customers rave about the #1 Special and other filling options, and many consider it the best banh mi in Vancouver.
The bread is consistently praised for its freshness, crispiness on the outside, and soft, chewy interior. It is made in house. Yes that’s right, in house from scratch.
Expect lineups, especially during peak hours, as the shop is popular. It's important to note that Banh Mi Saigon is a cash-only establishment.
In summary: Banh Mi Saigon is a highly recommended spot for delicious, affordable, and generously filled Vietnamese sandwiches, with a focus on fresh bread and a variety of flavorful options. Believe me, you’re known to be the best when you don’t cut corners. This place mastered their craft.

Spring rolls taste ok but not hot or reheat. The sub is generic.
As someone from out of town, I’ve tried a lot of Banh Mi spots that miss the mark on authenticity. But arriving in Vancouver, I quickly fell in love with the Banh Mi shops and delis here—they know how to make a truly authentic sandwich.
This spot came highly recommended. With its clean, modern look and an easy-to-navigate English menu, they focus on one thing: Banh Mi! They offer a variety of meat options, but the original cold cut was my favorite. The homemade baguette, a hefty foot long, pairs perfectly with their selection of meats, fresh herbs, and tangy pickled veggies. The balance of meat, bread, and veggies was spot-on—absolutely delicious and refreshing!
It’s worth coming back to try their other menu options. Note: they only accept cash, though I hope they’ll take cards in the future. Overall, friendly staff and a great atmosphere!

A couple of things first, this is a grab and go spot, not a sit down place, and secondly, it’s cash only.
Now that’s out of the way, this place has the best banh mi in Vancouver. Great amount of food for the price, and if you buy 10, you get your 11th free (in one purchase, good for parties or groups).
Overall, this is an awesome spot for a quick bite and great value. There’s almost always a line, so you can go a bit earlier or during off hours.

Lady added a bun to the bill when we didn’t even confirm the order, we had to tell her to remove the item from receipt. Then we got a drink, and before asking for the price she charged us $9 for it?! When all the drink prices on the menu were at most $7.
