As someone from out of town, I’ve tried a lot of Banh Mi spots that miss the mark on authenticity. But arriving in Vancouver, I quickly fell in love with the Banh Mi shops and delis here—they know how to make a truly authentic sandwich.
This spot came highly recommended. With its clean, modern look and an easy-to-navigate English menu, they focus on one thing: Banh Mi! They offer a variety of meat options, but the original cold cut was my favorite. The homemade baguette, a hefty foot long, pairs perfectly with their selection of meats, fresh herbs, and tangy pickled veggies. The balance of meat, bread, and veggies was spot-on—absolutely delicious and refreshing!
It’s worth coming back to try their other menu options. Note: they only accept cash, though I hope they’ll take cards in the future. Overall, friendly staff and a great atmosphere!

A couple of things first, this is a grab and go spot, not a sit down place, and secondly, it’s cash only.
Now that’s out of the way, this place has the best banh mi in Vancouver. Great amount of food for the price, and if you buy 10, you get your 11th free (in one purchase, good for parties or groups).
Overall, this is an awesome spot for a quick bite and great value. There’s almost always a line, so you can go a bit earlier or during off hours.

Lady added a bun to the bill when we didn’t even confirm the order, we had to tell her to remove the item from receipt. Then we got a drink, and before asking for the price she charged us $9 for it?! When all the drink prices on the menu were at most $7.

Always fresh, always delicious and loaded with great fillings. The portion size is generous and the "special" never disappoints! The other flavours aren't as amazing in my opinion but to each their own taste. FYI they don't cut sandwiches unless requested, and if it's busy, they also won't cut your sandwiches in half. They close when they sell out of bread and it's cash only. AVOID the Vietnamese iced coffee as it doesn't taste good ... But this restaurant still get five stars from me cause their banh mis are the best!

The Sub was really good, probably one of the best ones I had in a long time the wait time is long, it was worth the wait.
We went there for the first time after passing it yesterday with a long waiting line! We’re originally Vietnamese and the banh mis are very delicious and very big! Needed to split meals because we couldn’t finish. We were so impressed! They taste just like in Vietnam. They have a lot of options and also serve banh baos in veggie und meat version. It’s takeaway and cash only. Definitely recommended!

We had the comically large bao for breakfast - yes, there is an entire egg in there, wrapped up in the meaty filling, savoury and hearty in all the right ways and fuelling us for the journey. At the top, after hours of strenuous climbing and scrambling, we cracked open the banh mi and I can scarcely think of a richer reward.
I’ve had banh mi before, but not like this. Stuffed to the gills with a variety of delicious cold cuts lending a nuanced and yet overwhelmingly meaty punch, wrapped in the perfectly baked baguette, this thing had me ready to ascend from this mortal plane (that’s barely hyperbole). Try this ASAP.

One of the standout features of this place is their in-house baked bread. The baguettes are perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining soft and fluffy inside—it’s this crucial element that elevates their Banh Mi to a whole new level. You can really taste the difference when the bread is fresh and made with care—it forms the ideal cradle for the delicious fillings.

I ordered 3 Subs for my office colleagues. One of them went here to pick up by CASH.
The owner asked her :" do you you want to buy buns? Its fresh, newly made" My co-worker said no as we already had 3 subs. Then she said " just Tried, if good then next time buy more for me, maybe 2?" So my co-worker thought its PROMO, try and buy more in the future technique. So she said thank you. The owner then put 2 buns in our bag and charged $36 in total. She never mentioned how much the buns are and no receipt at all. So my co-worker came back and she said how nice this business is to offer clients like this. Lol.
Apparently everyone who came will be pushed to buy something else. And if you refuse to, she will gave you a bad look ?
