I think I finally found my favorite Korean restaurant in Vancouver. Their food is DELICIOUS. They give you three small dishes and they were neat and tasty, and their food— this is the real Korean food that would please everyone. I loved that their food wasn’t sweet, which I’ve noticed more and more common these days, but food here was very flavorful, full of ingredients, and the servers were so kind! This place is definitely my go to now!

They deserve 5 stars especially for the service BUT the food was very good also. They took care of us like we were really important person. They took the time to look at the entire menu with us to identify everything that was gluten free and they adapted some for us. Everything was great. We like our experience and would recommande anytime !

Really yummy food and super friendly service. We’ve been here when it was Ebisu and we didn’t like it - but we gave it a try again with the new brand and it definitely impressed us. The sashimi box for 24$ was definitely worth it and the other options we tried were all so good.

Never order here using the delivery service, my order got delayed for hours and they never properly updated the estimated delivery time, and I was waiting and waiting for another 5 minutes and another 5 minutes. The meal never got ready, and i had to cancel it after hours of waiting, this is beyond frustrating

The prices here bear no relation to the quality of the food, let alone the standard of service. The service, in particular, is indefensible. I have been visiting since the restaurant’s opening, yet not once have I left with the impression that the front of house was even remotely competent. The staff project an air of indifference, their lethargy and inattentiveness betraying a complete lack of training. To call it “service” at all feels like a misuse of the word.
At midday, a lone server is left to manage the floor, making even the simplest requests an ordeal. In the evening, though the staff multiply, their attention shifts inward; they chatter among themselves, retreat to the kitchen to snack, and treat guests as an afterthought. A refill of water becomes a drawn-out negotiation, and settling the bill can demand a half-hour of patience. Not once has anyone offered the most elementary courtesy: “How is your meal?”
Among Vancouver’s many restaurants, this one distinguishes itself as a nadir of service. Whatever merit the food might claim is undermined by a front of house so neglectful it borders on hostile. The lasting impression is not of hospitality or craft, but of a dining room where the guest is an inconvenience, and the experience a dispiriting charade.
The food was great and service was fabulous.. The lady who served us gave us lots of recommendations because we were first time there!
If you want to avoid the crowd then definitely go there like weekday afternoon.
This place is definitely recommended!

We ordered ‘Spicy Braised Pork Ribs with Kimchi 김치등갈비찜‘ from Uber. The seasoning was utterly unbalanced so bland that we had to re seasoning and re cook the dish ourselves. Also the portion of spare ribs was shockingly meager given the price, which left us deeply disappointed.
I had heard murmurs that the restaurant tends to be frugal with ingredients, but I truly did not anticipate the quantity to be this insufficient.

Service is unprofessional. Communication skills were terrible. Need training on how to deal with customers . That’s why I changed my mind and I didn’t order

A great place to enjoy a quick drink late on the weekend! The menu offers a variety of fusion Korean dishes, making it a great place to visit with international friends! Ordering something light that day was a great choice!

#1 TTEOKKBOKKI I’VE EVER HAD. I had this place on my watchlist for weeks before I came to Vancouver, specifically for their Mala Rose Tteokkbokki. Safe to say, I was NOT disappointed!!! THE BEST TTEOK I’VE EVER HAD!!! The chewiness was unlike any other, maintaining its bouncy yet firm nature. Along with the Mala Rosé sauce, I almost ascended to heaven. Overall, I was amazed by this restaurant, and although I am 120lbs, I ate the whole tteokkbokki by myself.
It comes with thick glass noodles, fish cake, fishballs, some pieces of sausage, and fried chicken at the center. Each tteok is roughly a little over 2 inches 🤍🤍
