This is a great place to come if you’re dining with some people who eat fish/meat and some who do not, as they have a full vegan menu and it’s so good!! We ordered the vegan sushi platter and the “beef” udon. The “beef” was so authentic, we had to double check it wasn’t for real. They import it from Japan. The vegan sushi was also great—avocado & yam rolls were notably perfect. Our fish-eating friend enjoyed the “real” sushi as well. Great service, highly recommend.

Hands down one of the best sushi spots I’ve ever tried in Vancouver! Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the salmon sashimi, which was incredibly fresh., the mango island roll was my favourite!! The presentation was beautiful too, you can really tell they put a lot of care into both the quality and the visuals. The owner was also super sweet and fun. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you like sushi!! 😆😆

I am amazed by Ogenki’s friendly atmosphere and ambient vibration. It is definitely a nice place for socializing or celebration on Main Street.

I have tried most of sushi restaurants in Metro Vancouver, and I could honestly say that Ogenki’s food quality and taste are in high end. I specially recommend Salmon Aburi (oshi sushi) which looks good, smell good and taste good.

BTW, they are generously offering free Mango Island Roll if you are willing to post photo on social media.

They have an entire vegan menu. We were impressed by the nigiri which was delicious. The rest of the Maki rolls were normal, can probably be a bit more generous with fillings and rolled better so they are not falling apart. I'm sorry but the vegan chicken roll was not good lol. Would come back to try more of the menu. Generally happy to have a casual vegan sushi option in Vancouver.

Amazing food! Had the avocado bomb, yellow dragon, mango California, dynamite, spicy green dragon and rainbow rolls! They were all spectacular and vegan!

I had a disappointing experience with the food, which had an unusual taste and seemed to be cooked in overly used oil. Unfortunately, this led to a case of food poisoning. I would not recommend this place based on my experience
