Meant to write this review some time ago. So coffee bun when from 3.68 to 4.20 $ overnight…Thefts! You lost an habitual customer

Food is decent, but the service really needs improvement. The lady working at the counter rolled her eyes at me right after taking my order and my friend saw it too. It made the whole experience uncomfortable. A little courtesy would go a long way.

They have some of the best pork buns around! And as someone who has tried many local Asian bakeries and dim sum restaurants, I say this with confidence. I especially love the baked ones. I personally wouldn’t consider it a nice cozy spot to sit and eat inside, I have only gotten them to-go, but this doesn’t matter honestly. The prices are very reasonable as well. PS the baked pork buns seem to sell out quickly so be sure to go before 5 PM if you want them.

EDIT: Nov 11, 2025
It's sad when a place I truly loved has declined in quality.
I ordered from Bao Bakery this past weekend after not ordering from them for a while and I was really disappointed. The BBQ pork bun was mostly dough (I'll post a pic), and the sesame red bean balls were very oily and the coating was so thick. It didn't used to be like that.
I also noticed that their BBQ pork filling has a bit of a gamey taste now too.
I guess I'm not going to be ordering from this place again.

I love the quality of the food here. I've gone to their location for pick up and I've also ordered from them via delivery apps. The quality never changes. They also package them well. Their sesame balls are a good size and nicely filled. They're not too oily either. Their Pineapple buns are huge and fluffy. The topping stays put. They don't slide off and become crumbly like the others I've tried. Same goes with their new Coffee Buns. The coffee coating adheres to the bun. The bun itself is soft and buttery. Their steamed baos are delicious, well stuffed and remain soft, even the next day. They have yummy, crispy lumpia as well. I definitely recommend this bakery.

Fresh good tasting buns. A good selection of baked and steamed offerings. The pineapple BBQ pork bun was excellent.

They have great buns and are one of the few places still making those coconut covered mochi balls with peanuts inside 🙂

Super disappointing they got rid of the latte, it was the main reason I went there.
