Bao Bakery is famous for their steamed buns. There's a variety you can choose from, sweet or savoury. It's conveniently located close to Joyce Collingwood SkyTrain station.

I Had an incredibly rude & unnerving encounter with the counter lady who slammed kitchen utensil while talking to me when I asked a question about the menu
The food has also gone done in quality.
My toddlers Chicken deluxe was pink and not cooked properly. This is a Heath hazard. Avoid

There was some confusion with my order, but the staff showed great customer service
Chicken Deluxe is usually quite good. But most recent batch. Very Dissapointing.
Stuffing texture was very tough and overcooked. Similar to beef jerky.
Price increase and poor quality 👎

Ordered the siu mai, spring rolls, BBQ pork bun, and red bean sesame ball—everything was delicious and full of flavour.

Meant to write this review some time ago. So coffee bun when from 3.68 to 4.20 $ overnight…Thefts! You lost an habitual customer
Food is decent, but the service really needs improvement. The lady working at the counter rolled her eyes at me right after taking my order and my friend saw it too. It made the whole experience uncomfortable. A little courtesy would go a long way.

They have some of the best pork buns around! And as someone who has tried many local Asian bakeries and dim sum restaurants, I say this with confidence. I especially love the baked ones. I personally wouldn’t consider it a nice cozy spot to sit and eat inside, I have only gotten them to-go, but this doesn’t matter honestly. The prices are very reasonable as well. PS the baked pork buns seem to sell out quickly so be sure to go before 5 PM if you want them.
