Got the Ube and Cinnamon Twist doughnuts. Ube doughnut was alright. Cinnamon Twist doughnuts were dry and awful. We threw them away after a couple of bites.

Found this gem and we go out of our way when we visit Vancouver to make a stop. Favorites are the spring rolls(called something else, I always forget) and the sweet bun. Every time we try something new. Such a great spot to grab something to take out.

There’s so many Cantonese bakery but in the Philippines style, even I am a Hong Kong miss I was still say this is a very good Hong Kong bakery.

Pineapple bun was really good and pillowy with butter inside. Everything (drinks included!) was very well priced. Great matcha latte for under $6. Would come again when in the area.

The matcha latte is delicious workers are very welcoming and polite (side note: what matcha brand do you guys use?)

Tasty iced matcha and earl grey lattes that weren't too sweet nor watered down. The chicken sausage, baked BBQ pork, and chicken steamed buns were all delicious.

Bao Bakery is an absolute gem! I’ve visited on different days since my husband’s workplace is nearby, and whenever I get the chance, I stop by—even though I don’t live in the area.

So far, I’ve tried their apple tart, cheese & cheddar bread, and a cheese & cheddar bun with bacon and egg (or maybe ham, I can’t quite remember). I also had their pineapple bun, and wow—everything was absolutely delicious!

I’m planning to go back soon to try their shumai, since I’ve heard they’re amazing. But honestly, this bakery has been incredible so far! Highly recommended!

Good location right by the station, I would say the prices were quite affordable for the quality of food,

We had the redbean doughnut. Usually, I don't like sugar on top of my doughnuts, but this highlighted it well, perfectly balanced.

We also had the coffee bun that is lovey as well.

My gf got two other meat pastries. Next time, I'll check if there are vegetarian savory pastries, but I either way loved the ones I had.

I'll definitely come back again when I'm in the area.

Bao is not special enough to warrant a return. Bbq pork ok. Custard was way too sweet. Other baked buns are also just ok.

Take out orders are poorly packed. Smushed all the apple tarts because they flipped the box vertically. They could have picked a different sized box?
