I tried their Bún Chả Cá, and previously I tried their Bánh Mi Đặc Biệt. The Bánh Mi Đặc Biệt despite being a little bit pricey, it had a nice flavour. Regarding the Bún Chả Cá, I think that the portions of food were fair for the price, the Homemade Fish Filet tasted nice and the amount of noodles was fair as well. The service was fast, and the atmosphere was nice. When I tried the Bánh Mi Đặc Biệt, the restaurant did not feel that clean, however, when I tried their Bún Chả Cá, the restaurant was cleaner. Additionally, I think that the restaurant has an appropriate number of tables available for dine-in service.

The decor is what really draws you inside. Love their setup. It’s fun and simple.
The service is good and the staff is friendly.
However…
I think it might have been an off day or maybe we should have ordered something else. The prep on the betal beef wasn’t that good. Looked inconsistent like someone in experience rolling different sizes of joints. The flavor seemed bland as well.
The crab soup had an unusual sweetness to the broth as well. It could be that it’s their twist to the traditional one?
It didn’t discourage us. I think we will come back again and try other items 😀

I live in Kerrisdale and this is one of my favorite spots. I’ve been a customer for a while now but I thought it was about time that I posted a review because their food is amazing! But, besides the delicious peanut satay noodle soup with lemongrass chicken, they are very hospitable. They know my name and make me feel special or important when I come by. Today, for example, it was very busy when I walked in. But, they still found time to say hi to me and goodbye through a crowd of people when I was leaving (…she even slipped a free soda in my takeout bag). They made my day. I’ll always be a regular at Baoguette. :)

We were excited to come here as we haven't had Vietnamese food for a while. Everything started off well but it went downhill when the crispy fried dumplings came in cold.
The dumplings were cold and definitely raw in the middle. Pork is something you don't want to gamble with. Luckily none of us got sick but it could easily have happened.
The server and, probably the manager/owner, were extremely apologetic which was great. Mistakes happen.
My wife got a bahn mi which she didn't like that much -- quite bland for her. I got the lemon grass chicken with egg which is a staple, and I enjoyed it.
Overall, besides the mishap, it was a pleasant experience. Will we come back? I'd say so. We're willing to give it another shot.

We had a delicious dinner at Baguette. My daughter couldn't choose between a salad roll and a spring roll, and their house special roll (a spring roll in a salad roll) was perfect for her. We'll be back!

My personal favorite place for good Vietnamese food. I’ve had everything here, and it never disappoints. The food is fresh and delicious every time. I would recommend the chicken salad rolls always and the vermicelli bowls are amazing too!

Ordered a takeout and it took forever to wait like 40mins+ (when there ain't many customers). Their service attitude was really bad. Forgot to give me chopsticks too, which was super inconvenient. I couldn't eat out and had to wait for like two hours until I get home - what's the point for takeout then??
Edit response: such an excuse that takeouts don't give utensils - it's a common sense and basic expectation for restaurants to give or at least ask how many utensils takeout customers want (unless it's handheld places ofc). I ordered rice by the way, not handhelds. You are not giving valid excuses for your terrible service. Your excuse would just be a joke for any Asian restaurants in Vancouver.

Baogette is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in Kerrisdale.
The bánh mìs are incredible! Super fresh, crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside, and loaded with generous portions of meat and veggies. The iced coffee is the best I’ve had anywhere, and the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming every time.
It’s one of those places that gets everything right, and keeps you coming back.
Easily one of my favourite spots in the city.

The best baguette sandwiches in South Vancouver made even better by being served warm.
Full menu offerings with lots of variety and servings are generous.
Very popular choice in Kerrisdale and expect a lineup that is always worth the wait.
