Food was not too bad but the portions were smaller than I thought, the service was terrible and the whole restaurant was full of smoke.

The food was ok, the drinks were ok...but the price was not ok. 1 happy hour main, one happy hour starter, 5 drinks was $140.

Came here for our anniversary because Brydon recommended it, it was absolutely incredible, Brydon was great, the funniest and most charming, the wagyu crostini was fantastic and the whole atmosphere was unforgettable

All the bread (whether it was the crostini tapas or cheese dish) was so crispy on the point of burnt that it cut the top of our mouths. We also checked the online menu before hand (and the menu that their QR code on their water jug led to) and wanted to get the chicken tortellini because my wife doesn’t eat red meat or seafood, but then they said that pasta wasn’t available and only had seafood or red meat pasta.Nice decor but super packed in and loud.Server was very friendly.End bill was $240, would not come here again.

? Midnight Cheers at Bar Corso: Where Happy Hour Shines ?✨? Venturing out for a late-night date on Commercial Drive, my wife and I were drawn to Bar Corso, a cozy nook that promised an intimate escape. Nestled in the heart of what's affectionately known as Little Italy, it was our beacon at midnight. ??? The Old Fashioned and Negroni from their Happy Hour menu were our picks — and oh, what a choice! Expertly mixed, these cocktails soared to the top of our list, making the night even more special. ?✨? Though we were there post-supper, the ambience and the tantalizing menu have us plotting a return for their culinary offerings. Bar Corso has quickly charmed its way into our hearts, becoming a must-visit spot. ??? Can't wait for our next visit to dive into the full Bar Corso experience — from their delectable dishes to the rest of their cocktail mastery. This hidden gem on Commercial Drive has become our new favorite late-night haunt. ??? Whether you're wrapping up your evening or just getting started, Bar Corso offers a perfect blend of ambiance, exquisite drinks, and the promise of delicious food. See you there for another round of memorable nights! ??

I lived in Italy for many years. It was over crowded, really poor service and our spritz’s were tasteless. I was told they made them more ‘subtle’ than other places, but some taste would have been good. Trendy and over rated, not very East Van at all.

Stop by here just for happy hour drinks on Sunday Funday ? We ended up sitting at the bar. Ordered the Elderflower Spritz and Beam Me Up Negorni. These cocktails were great. The atmosphere was great too. It would be a great date spot on The Drive.Didn't get a chance to try any food items as we ate at another spot on the Drive earlier. I'll be back one day to give the food menu a try.

Great spot for date night for delicious cocktails. We like to dress to impress, so glad this spot allows for that kinda vibe. The potatoe dish felt like a homage to the mountains, with the parmesan heaping over, with a delicious pesto base. The shrimp crudo was kind of like a ceviche- fresh and delicious.

This place is one of my favs! Always consistent with quality food and drinks. The bar does a wonderful job with a wide selection of tasty cocktails. Although the food was extremely delicious, every bite left a memorable impression. Strongly recommend checking this spot out, its got a great vibe for a night out.

We made a reservation several weeks ago for seven people last night, and they gave us three tiny round tables with quite a bit of space in between. It was almost impossible to have a conversation at all, as it was so noisy and we were so far apart. When we asked about another table that was larger and had just been vacated, they said it was reserved. But we had a reservation, too! The food was overpriced, and the server tried to push the Wagyu tatar - one for each person. We declined and just had some prosecco, the charcuterie board, and the eggplant appetizer. The charcuterie board was overpriced and disappointing - it even had some kind of orange marmelade on it, and no olives! The cheese was cut into cubes, like something you'd get served at an office do. The best part was that eggplant appetizer. When we finished the appetizers, we left and went to a less noisy place for dinner. My recommendation is not to book this place with a larger group - it's probably fine for date nights.

The food was 10/10 - Tuesday nights at Bar Corso are winners.
