Got there at opening and there were many open tables. We were sat by the front door surrounded on two sides by glass water bottles. I was so worried I'd knock one down because they were so close. Friend was cold by the door and asked to move and they said no.
Food was a joke - decent tasting but the preserve on the cheese platter was less than half a teaspoon. We couldn't even scoop it with a knife and speed had to just dip a little cheese in. Three tiny slivers of cheese. I wish I took a photo. Only 4 small crackers and it was $24! Tartare came with 3 small crisps. I understand costs are rising but I'll never go back as this was ridiculous.

First time trying this place — loved the patio! The area wasn’t too busy, super cozy even though it was a bit windy. The staff were really friendly! The chef rotates, and we got the ceviche — it was okay, but the vibe totally made up for it. Would definitely come back to try more food! Overall 9/10 🤍

OK, let me start with the good. The front of house staff were welcoming and helpful.
Now the bad. Wine selections were poor. Red wine temperature was so cold it had no taste or aroma. I find many establishments serve their red wine too warm, but this red wine was served straight out of the same fridge that chilled the white wine. The wine was so cold I needed to cradle glass in my hands in order to warm it up ( I was tempted to use my armpit but it is a nice establishment after all). The bar service is poor, everyone stands in line to taste wine before asking for a pour. Lining up for an insipid taste is a waste of everyone's time. The staff never present the bottle for review and simply state the varietal. I do not believe there is a sommelier. To add insult to all of this, the glassware was cheap and inappropriate for the wines. Any self respecting wine establishment should be using the appropriate stemware for the varietal.
I don't want to sound like a snobby oenophile, but this establishment should simply refer to itself as a casual café that happens to serve wine.

It’s probably my new favorite place in Vancouver!
I have no complaints at all. Food was absolutely amazing (went for Alvaro Montes de Oca, Mexican food) and as a Mexican I would go back any day of the week for the arrachera and Oyster mushroom tacos. The wine was also amazing and the server let us try several wines before deciding which one we wanted. The service was excellent and I can’t wait to go back to try the other featured chefs.

Such cool vibes - one of my favourite places in the city. Best to get there earlier or you may need to wait. Highly recommend!

The melon crudo was a standout the compressed cantaloupe with jalapeño, basil, coriander oil, and fennel pollen was so fresh and unique. The radish tonnato with peanut chili crunch and basil was equally delicious, layered with flavor and texture. The wine pairing was excellent and really brought everything together. Highly recommend!

Cute bar and good wine selection with seasonal pairings. Had lovely outdoor seating though inside can be stuffy. A bit pricey but worth the experience!

I’ve come here a couple times for a good night caps. They have a wide range of wine selections and they’re knowledgeable in what to suggest if you’re indecisive. I went recently for their pop up collab with Gary’s and the food was amazing.

I’ve been coming here for some time now and have always had a great experience. Probably one of the best natural wine selections in this city with great service. Unfortunately I was dismayed by the lack of professionalism in communication recently. I was trying to book a larger group here for my birthday and emailed them as noted on their website. I waited a few days and never heard back. As we were all wanting to know the finalized plan and location and as a last attempt, I tried DMing them on Instagram, letting them know how I tried emailing with questions on larger group and if they could accommodate us. They responded back after a few hours with ‘sorry, we’re all booked that weekend.’ No apology or explanation on not getting back via email (stated in their website for large group resos), which I would think would be the official / professional mode of communication in this case. I don’t think people should rely on IG DM as the main source of communication / information, at least in this situation. I was rather turned off from their lack of warmness and explanation (maybe take the email off their website if they’re not going to use it?). During that time I had reached out to two other restaurant / bars and they did get back via email with friendliness and provided information on gratuities, menu, etc. If they had just emailed me back letting me know they were fully booked (or not), I could have committed to another place sooner. It’s unfortunate as I still really like this place for good wine and the feature of different chefs and they were my top choice, but this recent experience with trying to book for a larger group for my birthday turned me off and I probably wont try again in the future for a larger group booking.
Rudest staff I have ever met. From the moment we sat down and got a glass of wine, we found a bug in the glass as it was being served. The waitress’s reaction after telling her this was “just use your spoon!” After that we were served a cucumber dish that had a mention of guanciale xo, which fair was present on the menu, but in my defense, I didn’t really know it contained shrimp contents. After having a bite and getting a mild allergic reaction, I stopped and asked them if it contained shrimp, which they confirmed. When asked if we could switch it for another dish of the same price, or a wine glass the rude lady who was apparently the manager rejected saying it was our responsibility to know what guanciale xo sauce was and they would not be accommodating this, without even an apology.
Only positive comment, the pork dumplings were fire - but unless you have the self-respect of a doormat don’t go.

My go-to place for date night. Really nice selection of organic wines, great music and atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and try to accommodate you even when it’s very busy. I told one of the hosts I have a severe hearing impairment and he did his best to accommodate us in a quieter place. The bar also has a ramp to get inside so it’s obvious they care about people with all sorts of disabilities.
