Barcelos Flame Grilled Chicken - South Vancouver

Ordered a chicken pita, it wasn’t even edible. Not going back. Can’t believe a restaurant would serve food that bad.

Ordered double kebab which is two skewers of small chicken. İt smelled so bad that I couldn’t eat them and tossed. Ordered garden salad as a side got rock or whatever in my mouth. Never coming back

Went there with family and had an amazing experience. The food was really delicious and staff is amazing too. They have many options for vegetarian as well as for allergies. The lunch specials deals are pocket friendly to try.
It is place where i always wants to go now.

So I called in my pickup order and didn't look at the food before I left the store. I get back to work and see this dried up burnt pigmy piece of a chicken leg. It smelled terrible as it was burnt and covered with Tangy Lemon sauce. ( battery is there to show the size of the wing... I mean leg) # dissappointed.

Never going there again.

Every time I order delivery from this place they always mess up my order. Whether it’s giving me the wrong item or it’s missing completely. You guys should really pay attention to your orders and double check them before sending them out. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately I don't have much good to say about my last experience here. Food took too long. Portions were also too small for the amount I paid. This is a disappointment. The chicken was overdone . The girl who helped me was very polite however. But portions could definitely be a bit more generous. Hardly any chicken in my chicken bowl. I will maybe come back. Not sure at this point.

Barcelos is hands down one of our favorite spots for flame-grilled chicken. What truly sets them apart is their incredibly consistent service across multiple locations. The staff are always polite, professional, and well-presented — they greet you with a smile and regularly check in just the right amount to make sure you’re comfortable without being intrusive. It’s clear that customer service is a top priority.

The food is amazing — the peri chippers are our absolute favorite, but the sandwiches and chicken meals are also delicious. Generous portions, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor every time.

All their locations we’ve visited are spotlessly clean with a calm, inviting atmosphere, and they’re never overcrowded, so you can truly enjoy your meal without the usual bustle.

Highly recommend Barcelos to anyone looking for quality food with top-tier service.
One small wish: I’d love if they started selling their sauces like Nando’s — I’m obsessed with them!

I got 2 screwers of chicken for 16 dollars. There are better places which provides more value for the dollar spent by providing better quality. Taste was bland. 1 star for the grilled char flavour

I usually go for the chicken, even though I don't like the flavor (too burnt) but my daughter likes it and the service is nice.

Today I went for the cheesecake advertised as from the Cheesecake Factory and I was surprised 😨 it was almost 10 dollars each! I just told myself, it better be big and delicious. It was not big, it was still frozen and it tasted like when you leave cheese on the fridge without covering it properly and it absorbs the taste of every food inside 🥲

I got my money back after some time, that's 5 stars in service, besides, the girls there are always so nice.

I recently visited Barcelos, and the food was delicious! However, I felt a bit awkward when one server used a hand gesture to alert another about my order; it caught me off guard. When I interacted with her, she seemed defensive, which added to my discomfort. I understand that things can get busy, but it left me feeling a little uneasy. Despite this, the overall staff was friendly, and I would still recommend Barcelos for anyone looking for tasty dishes!
