I ate at here, and as I left, I handed my plate back to a male staff who looked at me with a very surprised look, and I had left a tip! And I took your plate back for you. You're looking at me like that. It's so infuriating! The girl staff was great and with nice foods!

Best Bean Around the World location in the lower mainland by far. They have the best prices and their food tastes better than the other locations.

Best study place nearby! Affordable food and everyone is reading/working in side. When I don’t want to work in my school’s library I just visit here:)

I genuinely love the menu items at this place, and the items are pretty reasonably priced for the area. It's a nice cafe to stop by if you have an hour or two to kill, but they have GOT to get better about staffing their front counter. They only ever have one person taking and preparing orders, and as soon as they take an order, they prepare it from start to finish without acknowledging any new customers. If I come in for a quick grab and go muffin or pastry on my way to work, and I see ANYONE else in line or being served, I usually leave immediately, because I know it will guaranteed be at least 10 minutes before someone even says hello, or so much as "sorry, it'll be a few". A few times I have chanced it when someone else was waiting for their food/beverage and I've had more than 15min to spare to wait, and a good 80% of those times I've had to leave without ordering, so as not to be late. I would legitimately rather order food or coffee from Bean than any other coffee shop or bakery in the area other than maybe Thierry, but for now the only alternative that makes sense is either Mira's or Cobb's for a quick pastry.

Coffee places close so early now so they’re far and few in between. This is one of the few that remain open if you want a cozy place to read a book, debate with friends or watch YouTube in peace.

I love this place. The owner is super friendly and often working in the shop. His space generates a very organic community feeling and you will find rotating art from local artists every month, plus treats made by another small business in the store.I live in North Vancouver and I often make the trip here just because I like hanging out to work, have a chat with a new person, and eat a super delicious and inexpensive breakfast sandwich.Plus the coffee is good. Which I guess is important if I’m reviewing a coffee shop.A real gem in the community. Definitely a space that welcomes customers to stick around and enjoy, which is sorely needed in this city.

We came here by chance and had the best muffins we’ve ever had. We ordered the zucchini chocolate and the cinnamon apple ones. They were to die for! The coffee was also really good, will be coming back!
