This place is such a hidden gem! We were lucky enough to arrive early and receive croissants that were still slightly warm. The pistachio croissant was wonderful, nutty aroma, nice sweetness, flaky, crispy and buttery smooth. Their chai was surprisingly delightful and not overwhelmingly sweet which I appreciate. I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice morning treat and will definitely be visiting again.

The almond croissant is always delicious and the peanut butter vegan cookie sandwich (?)was really good.

A cute and cozy café. We tried a variety of pastries: the savory croissant with smoked meat was very tasty. Unfortunately, the tropical scone was disappointing — we couldn’t taste the pineapple or nuts at all. The pistachio croissant didn’t have a strong pistachio flavor either, although the croissant itself was good. The chocolate cake with sesame was just okay, as the sesame flavor was barely noticeable. Overall, the pastries were good, but the flavors felt rather mild.
We really liked the interior of the café — there was a very sweet board where guests could write down their New Year’s goals.
However, the staff was not very friendly, which was quite disappointing. We were greeted briefly, our order was taken, and we paid — that was it. No goodbye at all. This was our first stop in Vancouver, so it left me a bit disappointed.
A well-deserved 3 out of 5.

I don’t find myself in the area very often, but when the opportunity arises (as it did yesterday) I’m always keen for a sweet treat from Beaucoup!
Pictured Clockwise:
- Chocolate Kugelhof (a lovely seasonal dark chocolate yeasted cake with chocolate chips, citrus peel, & almonds, rolled in sanding sugar, with a little dollop of chocolate cream on top).
- Tropical Scone (most scones from other shops can be a bit dry, but not this one — no butter or clotted cream needed! Crumbly, sweet, studded with dried tropical fruit, macadamia nuts, & coconut — wonderful!).
- Cardamom Kouign Amann (I get one of these every time I visit, the cardamom is an absolute MUST have for me).
- Cinnamon Scroll (huge, flakey, sticky & luscious) nestled at the bottom of the box.
Not Pictured: I also bought 2 little cello bags of Brown Sugar Crunch Cookies and Brown Sugar Shortbread (both types of cookies were simple & lovely, perfect with a cup of tea. But if I had to choose a favourite between the two, the buttery shortbread would be my go-to).
My tummy was doing its happy dance, meanwhile my waistline is grateful that I don’t live closer (otherwise I’d definitely be much fatter!). 😋

I go to Beacoup at Dunsmuir location almost every day and love the pastries at Beacoup so much, so I ordered my birthday cake with Ana and Kiana over the phone , and they were very kind and helpful over the phone to place my order. I cannot wait to have more cakes from Beacoup for my special occasions! Best pistachio cake ever !!!

Been frequenting this place for years - excellent baked goods and quality drinks. Would easily be 5 stars except they don't accept cash anymore which is annoying.

The latte and almond croissant were good, but there’s no latte art on my coffee.
Pastries unlike anything else I’ve seen in greater Vancouver. Excellent espresso and latte. Small European vibe with pleasant staff

I've been coming here for a few months and always forget to post a review,
One of the best coffees and costumer service I've seen in a coffee shop, the pastries taste absolutely delicious, all the baristas are so polite and they always remember my order was gonna take out but had some extra time to leave this review while enjoying my delicious coffee and the best chocolate chip Cookie ever.
A must visit if you are around the area!

Quality has gone downhill. Today’s donut was so dry, the almond croissant was stale and didn’t taste like almond at all. Scone was SO dry. Overall very unimpressed compared to last time I came
About 6-8 months ago. Service so so. Not worth the 38$ I spent.
Nice one

It’s really disappointing that a bakery shop doesn’t provide a basic cake writing service, especially for a special occasion. I even emailed them with my order number but never received any response. On top of that, I found out they sell a “Happy Birthday” cake topper in-store for around $15 before tax, which makes me feel like that might be the reason they don’t include writing it. You can easily find a similar topper at the dollar store, Walmart, Party City, or Amazon for under $5. Their regular whole cake is already $56. Overall, the service felt poor, the drinks and croissants were overpriced, and the entire place is overrated.
