A brilliant atmosphere for coffee, and amazing snacks. Definitely a place worth returning to.

Highly recommended the cinnamon scroll, haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since!!
Tried their hot chocolate festival drink (Cereal Dream), so good 😋 it’s got their sweat savoury malty kind of flavour. Drank that with their pistachio croissant, probably the best pistachio croissant I’ve had ever — taste of real pistachio and not too sweet.

Really exceptionally made pastries, particularly the croissants. As I understand it, the woman who owns this cafe studied pastry in Paris, and it shows. This place was voted second best for croissants in Vancouver out of a list of 70+. The coffee is also well done and a bit more on the darker roasted side, but very full bodied. I appreciate their compostable cups for take out! Can’t wait to return!

Went today ard 330, cashier (very big)just kept chatting with other staff( big hair), non stop. No greeting, no thank you, just kept chatting. The other girl shorter, who prepared me the cake is better, at least she knows to smile and say thank you. Anyway, customer service is awful. If you continue this kind of terrible service, better just change to self serve, otherwise, not recommend

Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookie will fulfill your cookie craving.
Only wish the cookie was a bit softer so it crumbles less when biting in to it.

I used to work around the corner from beaucoup and stopped by multiple times a week. Literally the best ham and cheese scroll and the specialty croissants are amazing. Although, I did stop by today after a year and the scrolls are now more expensive and the ham is only placed about 1/3 into the pastry. I'm not sure why companies keep doing this and thinking they wont just lose a customer. Next time I stop by it's probably be half the size and $9.

Avoid Beaucoup Bakery – Online Cake Order Disaster & Zero Follow-Up
I placed an online birthday cake order with the Dunsmuir location on 11/16/2025 and received full payment confirmation plus a scheduled pickup for 11/19/2025. When I arrived, staff hadn’t made the cake, seemed confused about my confirmed order, and offered no immediate solution, leaving me heading to a birthday with no cake at all.
They took down my information, but as of 12/2/2025, I’ve received no follow-up, no refund confirmation, and no attempt to make this right.
If you don’t want to risk your special event being ruined, I highly recommend avoiding Beaucoup Bakery for online cake orders. Completely unreliable experience
Tiny...no room
It’s really disappointing that a bakery shop doesn’t provide a basic cake writing service, especially for a special occasion. I even emailed them with my order number but never received any response. On top of that, I found out they sell a “Happy Birthday” cake topper in-store for around $15 before tax, which makes me feel like that might be the reason they don’t include writing it. You can easily find a similar topper at the dollar store, Walmart, Party City, or Amazon for under $5. Their regular whole cake is already $56. Overall, the service felt poor, the drinks and croissants were overpriced, and the entire place is overrated.
