What a terrible disappointment. My wife & I had not been to this Cafe in awhile.....thought we would treat ourselves after a visit to the Apple Store. First off, the tables outside were filthy, take out food containers half full of food strewn about. it was terrible. I immediately thought "Management" had changed. We were met with an individual at the counter with an infected nose ring. Her attitude as well did not reflect the customer service Hawksworth Group is attached to. I collect our two Cortado's and head to the counter to find lids for our takeout cups. Sitting right beside the lids, cream & sugar is a bus pan completely filled with dirty dishes and glasses. Disgusting. I left my two espresso drinks there and headed to the Gallery Cafe at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Wow, Hawksworth Group, you have some work to do.....

I happened upon this place when I was visiting downtown Vancouver. Turns out the breakfast sandwich was one of the best I've had! If you like Arugula then you will love it.

Weak flavour profile on the sandwich. Squished small portion for the price. Cold cut smoked chicken was cold, cheese was not even a little bit melted- panini pressed uneven- half the sandwich was paper thin- the other barely grilled. Hardly any greens. Not impressed, overall very weak. Staff not knowledgeable about what the items contain. It’s barely a 2 all around for me. Even tipped on a to-go order.

$$$$ but I love it as a treat once in a while.Used to be a fan on their other location until they shut it down. Their offerings are top notch yet pricey.Chocolate croissant is my favorite. Unfortunately the roast beef bun is served cold, wish they could at least toast the bunny but it's very tasty.Coffee wise they are passable because of strong competition in Vancouver.I will come back again.

I wanted to buy a scone, which price tag was $4.50. At checkout, I was asked $5.41. So I told the woman that helped me that the scone was actually advertised $4.50. She looked at the price tag and realized that I was right. Despite of this, she said the price was still $5.25 (plus taxes) because this is how it has been set up in the cashier. In my opinion, the correct answer should have been: "Oh sorry about that, we have not yet updated the price tag. However, we are going to charge you only $4,50 as it should be". (This is actually the law). The woman has been pretty rude since the beginning, but she then turned totally obnoxious, not to say disrespectful. She finally said annoyingly: "So you want the scone or not?" Needless to say that I no longer wanted it. Neither will I return to this place to be ripped off. What a joke!

Great location but the croissant we got was stale and bad, and the rest of the food didn't look better and was outrageously expensive

Cute cafe I love the drinks here. However the service is lacking. The baristas don’t say hello or smile. On a few occasions I’ve seen some of them wear PJ bottoms or sweatpants at work. Bizarre. Not something that I would expect in a high end hotel.
