Bought 2 Caramel Cheese Tea from this location on august 28, the drinks were tasteless and pearls were soggy like they had been in water for days. I bought same drinks from other location tasted phenomenal. The staff was giving me attitude because I came in around 10:20PM (40 minutes before closing) and he said that they're closing in 10 mins? I had to throw away the drinks after 2 sips to make sure my tastebud were normal.

I had a really terrible experience the first time I ordered here. I tried Mango coconut drink to-go, I’m sorry to say I’ve never drank anything that tasted so bad. I barely tasted any coconut in my drink and the mango tasted so artificial and stale. Maybe if I can get a free drink for next time I can give this place another try. If not, I’m never coming back again.

We got two drinks that ended up being close to $19 and for that price you should be getting better quality than the bland/tasteless bubble tea we ended up walking out with.
I got an orea matcha milk tea that had a weak milk tea flavor and sprinkles of oreo bits and my wife got a mango pomelo sago that tasted watery and bitter.
The lady working there was also sort of scolding the young man working the entire time too so that was a bit awkward.

Had the mango lemon tea and it was delicious!! Not too sweet, perfect amount of tea flavour and chunks of perfectly ripe mango, so yum!!
Place could use a bit of an overall tidy as it’s a tad cluttered but a nice chill place to sit for a bit with a refreshing drink

The tea here is fantastic. Not too sweet, flavor is very balanced. They have a 50% off menu that makes it fun to try new flavors. When I was visiting Vancouver I came here once each day and ordered multiple bobas -- they are just that good. If you like tea, the tea jelly is very fragrant and wonderful.
When I came on the weekdays they seemed to only have 1 person running the shop, which meant if there is a queue of orders the service may take a little bit of time. The shop ambiance is nice so I didn't mind waiting a few minutes.
Expensive and tasteless drinks here. They added the maximum tips twice to the bill without even notifying. Very disappointed with the service. I will never order from here again.

I’ve been coming here for years and I’m baffled at all the poor reviews. I probably come here 3 times a month and have liked everything I’ve ordered. They have weekly promotions with several drinks offered at 50% off which is a fun way to try out new flavours you’re curious about trying.I really love bubbletea (I’m on a constant mission to try out all the shops in metro Vancouver) but more often than not I find that most shops make their drinks way too sweet—I really appreciate that most of the drinks that I’ve ordered at Ben gongs have so much flexibility in choosing how much sugar you want.I think it’s unfair that some people are giving this place a bad review because they choose to personalize their drinks to have less sugar and then proceed to not like the drink due to the lack of sweetness.Anyways, it’s my go-to local shop and the staff have always been polite and the service has been great.
