We have been visiting this Restaurant for over 20 yrs. It is a typical Indian Restaurant serving Punjabi cuisine but pure vegetarian food which is good. Restaurant food quality has always been consistent. While costs have doubled in the past few years, unfortuntately the quantities have also reduced & some items eliminated. The Channa Bhattura, Kulcha Channa etc are no longer served with Raita. Further whilst the Veg Thali is good (the cauliflower dry curry & paneer gravy curry were tasty), only one piece of Naan was given & the Raita was barely 3-4 spoons! (There should have been 2 x Naans & a cup of plain Yoghurt). This " stinting" on quanitities of items gives a poor impression & Owners should offer more fulfilling meals, which leaves the customers satisfied.

My wife and I were the only patrons upon the restaurant opening. Our server upsold us to the super thali (one each) that included plain rice, 2 veggie dishes (only 1 of our choice, the other is determined by the cook), raita, and one naan. We requested that the rice be replaced with a parata. We also ordered a chai each.Our meals came out and the servings weren’t enough for a child. Each super thali was $18 and the chais were $5 each. The chais didn’t come out until after we reminded our server and they still get to us until far after our meals were done.Upon receiving our bill we were charged extra for the parata even after the replacement of the rice and without warning from our server plus as the chais are bottomless and we didn’t get to take advantage we were still charged full price.We had an exchange with our server and then her manager/owner about the terrible experience and ludicrous behavior and pricing. Both were terrible people and we won’t be returning…ever!
