Tried a couple items - the berry rhubarb scone and citrus olive oil cake. The scone had a nice texture but contained only two berries in the entire (sizeable) scone. Also, it would have benefited from some lemon zest or dark chocolate to make it more flavourful and interesting. The olive oil cake had nice flavour but was fairly dense.

A nice little bakery/brunch place. Feta and spinach quiche was delicious as was the cinnamon bun and home-made style 'pop tart'. Will have to go back.

I completely agree with the other reviewer-excellent bread but THEY ARE NEVER OPEN! And what bakery opens at 10:00 am on a Saturday? Or any other day? Not open Sundays either! This is a lovely gesture to give her loyal staff their 2 day weekend but are you running a true bakery? Could you at least bake more bread on a Saturday? Turning customers away and telling them to come back at 1:30 for bread on what probably is your busiest day because you don’t have enough from all the preorders doesn’t make business practices. I will continue to try and work around your weird hours because your bread is delicious (and so is the fruit crumble) but seriously?

Absolutely the best scones and breakfast in Vancouver! Real fresh homemade style! Cinnamon roll is soft and nice, the brown sugar and raisin is just right amount, not over sweetened. Scone is flavourful and crunchy outside and fluffy inside. Everything is just wonderful!
I dont ever usually review.But today.. and the other 3 times I've been here is simply The Best!The luvley lady at the counter literally turned my morning around.Thanks for the terrific service, pleasent conversation and amazing treats.

I think this place is wonderful. Hesitant to come in here at first as there is a majority of a certain demographic and I’ve experienced something not nice here before. That being said there are wonderful regular customers who smile, small chit chat etc. There’s a pretty young lady with dark hair who’s always at the front. She’s very kind and smiles. I think she’s actually one of the keys to the success of the place too. I never tried there dinner buns one time and she had one left and gave it to me free of charge. This has now made me buy them often. Everything there tastes good. This place is an actual bakery with good food. Owner I’ve seen has nice silver and white hair is very elegant and classy. She interacts with the customers and you can tell loves what she does. Goods run out fast there and there’s a lot of people who order in advance. Even recommended it to people out of the country in Asia and Europe. I’ve heard service is slow bc the like to talk to their regulars so be prepared for that but I think that’s what the charm is about this bakery.
