Just to be clear, this is not fancy dining. But what you get is unique flavors that can't be found anywhere else in Vancouver.

Authentic Xuecai Pork Shredded Pian’er Chuan that truly brings back memories of Hangzhou. The noodles are chewy and flavorful — even better than some I had in Hangzhou. Clean, comfortable fast-casual setting, a nice selection of Jiangnan snacks, and very warm, friendly service. I’ll definitely be a regular. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Zhejiang cuisine.

Wow! Bing & Noodle over-delivered! This is a no-frills Chinese restaurant which serves very authentic dishes from special regions in China you can find in the other reviews. We had the dumplings, pancake and cold Chicken. I've been to China 50 times and this is the same thing as going to China - this is a compliment. It looks like a small family business which doesn't waste money on fancy decors - it's nice, tidy and comfortable. I will be back. this is highly recommended.

The best place to find the authentic Hangzhou street food
All handmade and it is worthy of waiting for our order to be delivered from the kitchen.
Also highly recommend for family with kids-nothing can be wrong when ordering either noodle or homemade Chinese style pancakes for children.

This is the most authentic Hang Zhou restaurant in Vancouver! I brought my parents who were visiting me from Hang Zhou there for lunch, and they absolutely loved it! We had four dishes:

1. Noodle soup with pork and preserved veggies (pian er chuan). Very fresh ingredients and delicious soup! The pork tenderloin slices were perfect, the bamboo was freshly flown in from Hang Zhou, and the noodles had a great texture, unlike any other noodle soup. I sent the photo to my relatives in Hang Zhou later in the evening, and they said the same noodle soup did not even look this good in Hang Zhou (with much fewer ingredients back home). So the chefs really produced a national treasure in my opinion.

2. Wonton soup. This is the street dish I grew up eating. The wonton skin was silky and the filling was delicious; the seaweed was fresh, and the little dried shrimp added more flavor. Just perfect and exactly how I remembered it.

3. Bing stuffed with preserved pork and veggie (mei gan cai bing). This is another perfection, thin and crispy crust, delicious and juicy filing, I wish I ordered another one.

4. Fried stinky tofu with sweet and spicy dipping sauce. This is another street dish I grew up eating. The stink is pretty mild, so it's not overpowering at all, but the tofu is really crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. The sweet and spicy sauce is what carries this dish.

Overall, I really like the food because it brings back so many memories of Hang Zhou. Even my parents are impressed (they are hard to impress!).

This place is super clean, and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. They serve authentic snacks and dishes from the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions, and everything tastes amazing! As someone from Hangzhou, I’m so happy to finally find the real taste of home here in Vancouver. Highly recommended!
