A friend who lives nearby recommended this place, so I finally checked it out. I walk by this area all the time, but since it’s not right on Davie Street, I never really noticed it before. I went around 1pm on Sunday, and most of the baked goods were already gone. I still grabbed a few to try at home. They weren’t fresh out of the oven, so I warmed them up a bit in the air fryer—still tasty, but I wish I could’ve tried them freshly baked. Next time I’ll try to come earlier when they open. Oh, and the tiramisu was amazing!

Nice little place Very few tables and quite close together so private chats are public. Expensive, elegant pastries, not a huge selection. Coffee good, pleasant barristas but I'd expect a "bit" of table service in this small place. Many of us were standing around soaked from the rain in the compact ordering area waiting for our selections and some were picking up our orders inadvertently. It'd be easy for those nice guys behind the counter to "up the experience" and bring them to our tables.

Poor customer service!! Very unwelcoming, were rushing our order aa they were closing in half an hour. Didn’t wanted us to dine in, even though there were 30 minutes left in closing.

The cappuccino was below average, with no latte art, but their pastries and cakes are exceptional. I tried the pistachio Danish — lightly sweetened and quite enjoyable. Definitely worth visiting for their baked goods!

I bought couple of croissants and chocolate bans, baguette for to go.
I was very disappointed with baguette. Because this was not French baguette that was Sourdough baguette! They did not tell me, that’s why not good smells from to go bags.
Croissants… so dry and taste like yesterday.
So sad but almond croissant was just okay.
Package was so fancy but I need fresh and good quality.

Cute little spot with a very open feeling despite not having lots of seating. It is kind of hidden, though, so you'll probably find seating. great service provided by the baristas who were kind and friendly.

Cute little cafe. Not too much seating. I got the old country sourdough loaf and it was soft even the next day. As far as I know there’s nothing savoury on the food menu . Just sweets and loaves to go.

Nice aesthetics. Everything looks nice but taste was horrible and STALE! I know food and no way these are baked fresh everyday. More like baked fresh every 3 days.

“Terrible Service – Would Not Recommend!”

This experience was disappointing and frustrating. Poor service, lack of customer focus, and no accountability—this is not a place I’d recommend.
Here are the reasons:
1. I ordered a cappuccino, but they gave me a latte instead. When I pointed out the mistake, they refused to correct it. This shows a lack of attention and care for customer satisfaction.
2. Despite choosing the dine-in option (and leaving a tip!), we had to serve ourselves. We picked up our drinks and pastries from the counter without any assistance, which is unacceptable for a place advertising dine-in service.
3. The store is small, with around 10 dine-in seats spread over a few two-person tables. We visited in December around 4:30 PM, and the weather was chilly. Unfortunately, we were forced to sit outside because all the tables inside were occupied. To make matters worse, we later saw that two of the indoor tables were taken up by store employees! Both employees were aware that customers were left without indoor seating and didn’t make any effort to free up space for us.
4. The utensils provided (knife and fork) were dirty, which is absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable in any dining establishment.

The matcha was not my favorite, but I couldn’t help but notice how great the service was. I got the white chocolate pistachio croissant which I would give a 6.5/10. Not a lot of seating inside, but on a hot day, I would choose to sit on their little patio.

Croissants looked great and tasted good but not quite top shelf. Not as flaky as I like, but soft and chewy on the inside. Just a matter of proportion.

Cute spot with outdoor seating and really pretty looking croissants, definitely a visual treat. Ambience of the place is super inviting. Everything on display looks fresh. On the pricey side, plain croissant was good, but felt like it looked 5 star but tasted 3.5/4 star-ish - was great and flaky and buttery on the outside but felt a little doughy towards the center, but good vibes overall.

Bisou Bake House is a gem when it comes to delicious pastries and coffee. Their croissants are absolutely divine—flaky on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside. They melt in your mouth with every bite, making them some of the best croissants I've ever had. Pairing it with their coffee, which is rich and perfectly brewed, makes for an ideal start to the day or a relaxing afternoon treat.

I also had the chance to try their galette, and it did not disappoint. The crust was beautifully crisp, and the filling was flavorful without being too sweet. You can really tell the care and craftsmanship that goes into everything they bake.

Bisou Bake House also has a lovely atmosphere, making it a great spot to sit back, enjoy your coffee, and savor a delicious pastry. Whether you’re a fan of croissants, galettes, or just want a good coffee experience, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended for anyone who loves high-quality baked goods!
