A friend who lives nearby recommended this place, so I finally checked it out. I walk by this area all the time, but since it’s not right on Davie Street, I never really noticed it before. I went around 1pm on Sunday, and most of the baked goods were already gone. I still grabbed a few to try at home. They weren’t fresh out of the oven, so I warmed them up a bit in the air fryer—still tasty, but I wish I could’ve tried them freshly baked. Next time I’ll try to come earlier...

Nice little place Very few tables and quite close together so private chats are public. Expensive, elegant pastries, not a huge selection. Coffee good, pleasant barristas but I'd expect a "bit" of table service in this small place. Many of us were standing around soaked from the rain in the compact ordering area waiting for our selections and some were picking up our orders inadvertently. The cappuccino was below average, with no latte art, but their pastries and cakes are exceptional. I tried the pistachio Danish — lightly sweetened and quite enjoyable. Definitely worth visiting for their baked goods!
