This place is really good. I eat Japanese food 2-3x a week and I’ve been to Japan 15 times. This place offers a range of food - from economical to higher end stuff. Best to go with people who know Japanese food well, but the service is so good that if you’re unfamiliar they’re more than happy to help you. I loved this place! Highly recommend!

The restaurant was unbearably cold. We were on the patio as were most customers but for some reason the restaurant refused to turn on the heat lamps. After we requested they turn them on the server brought us blankets which had been used by others before us. Why would we cover ourselves with previously used blankets while dining in a restaurant? I assume the cost of turning on heat lamps on a frigid night in Vancouver was too much to ask.

Great local business with amazing daily lunch special! Highly recommended. Interesting note also: servers that work here are from Japan to practice English, making the whole experience more authentic.
