I work near this location and have been getting the Matcha strawberry for a while, it’s the best I’ve tried so far! Highly recommend.
I came to try one of the new feature drinks, matcha latte with sweet corn foam. I was so curious to try this pairing and it worked very well. The sweet corn foam had the flavour that I would compare to caramel corn. The matcha itself was good. They use real matcha, whisked by hand, instead of powder mix, and it was strong enough with a nice smooth flavour. The pearls were also perfectly chewy! The barista was nice and checked to make sure I was okay with the dairy in the foam when I asked for oat milk in the latte. It was just one barista working around lunch time but they worked very efficiently considering the tea was being made from scratch because I think I only waited about 10 minutes with 5 or 6 people waiting for their drinks before me. The shop is cute but small.
I ordered a strawberry and jasmine drink with boba and I loved it. I don't like very sweet drinks so I was happy to be able to choose the level of sweetness. There are many variants to choose from, so I really appreciated the staff's suggestions for choosing my perfect drink.
This is my favourite boba tea place - love the Korean inspired spin! Never had a bad drink here and top shelf boba ❤️. Staff is always friendly and awesome too.
Very delicious, the truth is I will return for a strawberry and matcha boba run 🥰
I came to try the hot chocolate festival.
Clearly, it was the funniest presentation ! The hot chocolate itself was quite good ! The spicyness is a really nice touch.
Overall liked it.
The place itself is a bit small but well warmed considering the condensation on the doors 😂
I will come again to try other things as most of their items looks really good !
No wonder why is always super busy I tried the viet coffee and I’ve become an addict
I always have a nice experience in this place
When I first saw this I thought— how good can it be? IT’S GOOD
The hot chocolate is not too sweet and the jalapeno spice is the perfect aftertaste kick
The ice cream chicken is a bit too sweet on its own but the hot honey drizzle and cornflakes toppings + Boba toned it down a lot making it more balanced. And to end the meal the apple jelly is the perfect refresher after the more heavier drinks
i tried the special hot chocolate. i wasn’t a fan of the taste cuz it’s spicy but the presentation wow it’s amazing. super cute. the korean bahn mi is tasty as well. the dalgona hojicha is very good and definitely seems whisked to order as it was very smooth. overall i would definitely come back to try other items. also, the service was very good and they allowed me to bring my dog inside since it was cold outside.
Very sweet staff, and amazing hot chocolate! Super thoughtful creation for the hot chocolate festival. I thoroughly enjoyed this one! Thanks Boba Run!

We got the Strawberry Milk with matcha foam and the Strawberry matcha Latte. Both were really good. The first one was a little too sweet, and you can't really taste the matcha on top i pai 10$! (PS. Had oatmilk). On the other hand, the Strawberry Matcha Latte didn't really taste like strawberry, but the matcha taste was excellent.
Try the hot chocolate festival drink. Absolutely like the fried chicken hot chocolate. It tastes better than banana one. You can tell they spend a lot of effort for the fried chicken hot chocolate.
a unique twist on hot chocolate, blending rich, creamy chocolate with hints of sweetness.
Perfect for warming up after a day out, it’s a delightful treat that combines comfort and flavor in one cup.
January 18, 2025: Updated review. Owner was kind and apologetic for my first experience. I returned and had a Brown Sugar Hojicha Milk Tea with pearls. It was delicious with a good balance of creamy and nutty! 50% was the perfect sweetness level. The pearls had a nice chew. I appreciate business owners who care about the customer experience and feedback. While their drinks still cost a premium, the milk tea is the way to go! I'd return. Hopefully the staff is properly trained on drinks moving forward, but you can tell the owner cares about their products and brand.
December 28, 2024: Was excited to try Boba Run for the first time, but it fell short. I got their holiday special hot Cinnamon Spiced Sweet Potato Milk, and with the $1.10 oat milk substitution, it cost me $8.45 (no GST right now, but with GST it would cost even more!). While I liked the thickness of the drink and the sweet potato flavour, it was not worth the cost. I thought the cinnamon was muted and could've better been incorporated by mixing it into the drink (it was just on top). As there were no vegan/dairy free whip options, that part was omitted from my drink.
When I opened the lid to look inside, there was such a large gap between the rim of the cup and where the drink started! I understand that with the milk froth, it usually sinks a bit, but keeping in mind the price paid, I felt what I got was not adequate. They also only give you one small crispy Korean sweet potato chip (which looked quite sad and empty in the plastic container).
Shop is cute and the staff were friendly. They also have some savory food options. My friend had their Earl Grey Tea, which might've been the better option. They also have $5 drink specials on weekdays, so it's too bad we came on a weekend, but I was excited to try the sweet potato milk. Overall, an aesthetically nice shop if in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip out for their holiday specials.
Nice owner. Great banana coffee bubble tea. I like the Korean spin on it. We try to come here every time we come to vancouver from calgary.
