The staff tonight went so far above and beyond! Matilda especially was so kind and helpful. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable and really helped me so much! Great team!

Ordered the green goddess bowl. Such generous, delicious and healthy toppings! It’s enough for two people to share. Would definitely get it again and I feel it’s good value for the price. Also staff are very nice.

I come here all the time but had a really bad experience today. I am aware that the store closes at 10. I came in at 9:55 and started lining up. One girl was in front of me and a couple guys were behind me. When I came in, the door was wide open and at the time I came in nobody informed me nor anyone behind me that they would be closing and they won’t be able to make a drink for us. The employee at the counter took the order for the girl in front of me but when I got to the counter he said he wouldn’t be able to make smoothies. It is worth noting that I always come to the store at around this time and never had any issue ordering smoothies. It is clearly just this guy’s issue. This employee also did not inform me and the people behind me as we came in through the door but waited till it was my turn to refuse taking my order, after I decided what I wanted to get, to my disappointment. What the store should have done is to close the door if they are closing and not taking any orders. I can’t help but to think that they took the order or the girl in front of me but not mine was due to the fact that I am a person of colour and that the employee is of the same ethnicity as the girl. As a psychology major I knew that this is the result of implicit bias and discrimination. People are able to make exceptions for people of their own racial group but not people different than them. The employee taking the order made an exception for a white girl but not the rest of us who are minorities. We as BIPOC people already face so many challenges and inequalities in life, it saddens and frustrates me that we would get unequal treatment for something simple as ordering a drink. What I am trying to say is that if there is a rule, it should apply to everyone, not just the few, not just white people. I am very disappointed at this experience I had today. The store needs to train the employees better. Everyone wants to get off work early but customers should come first!

Overpriced, but a solid variety of options here. I would recommend getting the açaí bowls here, but not the smoothies.

The staff are always so friendly and helpful! They are also very accommodating of any dietary restrictions, preferences etc. So many smoothies and bowls to try and they're all so delicious. 11/10

BEC is the go-to place to get all your supplements, and theyve got great snack and meal options with macros explicitly written. lots of high protein snacks. It’s a wee bit expensive and the straws dissolve after 2 hours but I cannot fathom how any moderately health inclined student could live without bec. i wish the one at ubc would expand and have indoor seating,

Been going there as a recurring member but will be my last. Bad customer service. Went there and ordered a protein shake and when I went to pick it up the cup, the cap was that was loose so the entire content spilled everywhere. Not one staff batted an eye and completely ignored it. I had to clean up the mess and when I asked if I could get another one, they completely ignored me and went about their business.

The prices have gone up over the last few years, service has gotten much worse. Got a pistachio smoothie today, it tasted like milk and banana. I have no idea why anyone would pay $10-12 for a smoothie if there’s such little value to be had.

Amazing customer service!
I had an issue with a smoothie tasting watered down and noot how it should taste. I contacted the store about it via email. The manager was very accepting of feedback and made me feel heard as a customer, while also offering a free "make it right" smoothie on my account. Today i went and got the Purple Sheesh smoothie and wow it was so delicious, tasted great, and i had quick and friendly service. Thank you to the staff and manager for satisfying all my smoothie needs!

I ordered the Green Goddess bowl which I have gotten a dozen times however it took 15-20 min to be made as the newer staff member had to remake it. When I finally got my remade bowl not only did it have the incorrect toppings, but it also had almond butter when I had asked for none. I noticed that even the more experienced staff helping him make it did not point out the wrong toppings. I would have asked them to remake it a 3rd time however I didn't want to wait any longer. Not worth the $15 I paid.

Decent service and good food. I have to admit, though, the last few times I’ve bought smoothie bowls here I’ve had large solid chunks of ice or frozen fruit in the bowls. This seems to be happening more often. Not a dealbreaker for me, but not exactly a great thing to discover in your lunch.
