This location has no line up and not crowded at all unlike the metrotown location. Always love the vibe of having BP with friends and family especially after hiking or snowboarding. The best comfort and warm food you can get around that area after dark.

We used to come to this location a lot before they closed, because we like the food. Since re-opening, the place seems very understaffed compared to the Richmond branch. There is usually only one person working the front when we arrive, even if it is lunch time (12-1pm)

Still, today Dylan managed to all tables in a polite and timely manner. He was the only person working the front, taking orders, making drinks, and serving and cleaning tables the entire time we were there. He was working hard, and I hope management considers hiring more people like him.

TLDR; Food is always good. Portion size is good. Bathrooms are clean. Service is slow because the place is understaffed.

If you want faster service go to the Richmond location. If you have patience, you shouldn’t have a problem here.

Wow there's definitely value here at boiling point. I get people like all you can eat hot pot but this does the job just fine when they include a drink and a side.

It's plenty of food and for the price I would definitely come back again. It was a great meal. It was delicious. The staff is friendly.

Parking can be a bummer around this hood. It's free to a certain time or you gotta park blocks and blocks away.

Came here on a whim, started out a bit skeptical but was pleasantly surprised at the fast service and wonderful food. They were fast and very nice to us and the food was delicious. (P.S if you're white, order mild, they don't mess around with spice lol). Would definitely come back here again

I want to more salty. but, she said to,we don't have salt. there is restaurant.

Oh my, there should never be this many reviews about food poisoning for one restaurant…. I didn’t check the reviews before going.

I had the vegetarian option: the tofu was slimy and the bean curd was completely rotten so we sent it back. Now I feel validated after seeing the other comments.

My family got meat/seafood soups and they liked theirs. The gas smell from the burners was really strong throughout the restaurant - they need better ventilation.

The flavour was on point with the miso! I was able to share it with someone since it came in a large size. It had enough veggies and meat.

Update: I've since been back and the overall experience was much smoother! Less people and less chaotic service.

Original review: 2/5 stars. I usually love their seafood tofu soup and their tea is delicious, but going there after they've reopened, they're even worse than they used to be in terms of service (and they used to be pretty bad). Only two staff running food, taking orders and clearing tables and both seemed to be under trained. Every table had dirty dishes still on the table because the two staff didn't have time to clear them (thus a line waiting to be seated). They were also sold out of almost every soup flavour. Price went up but that's to be expected - just not worth the experience you have when you get there. We ended up leaving and likely won't be back unless their management gets better.

I love me some Boiling Point!! the soups are seriously addictive! My friends and I come here often for lunch, but this location has the worst wait times. They’re always short-staffed, which makes service super slow. The staff are nice and friendly, so it’s hard to be mad at them, but the pacing just isn’t great. If you’re in a rush, this might not be the best spot.

This place is very understaffed. They need more people working here to handle the volume of customers. There appears to be only one staff member waiting on the whole restaurant. She is doing her best but there is only so much one person can do.

A good place to come if you have lots of spare time and weren't hungry.

Before reopening the service was already slow, it is even slower during grand reopening. They were super busy during grand reopening though so I can't really judge how they would be normally. But whenever I'm here at this location, they just seems unorganized.

Food was good though, slow, but good.

Services can be hit or miss since some staffs were friendly, some... not so much. Staff are walking back and forth all the time, but it was still really hard to get their attention. I'm impressed that they can carry hot soup pot around on such slippery floor though, I almost slipped a few times.

My drink were overly sour to the point that I can't even drink it. I let the staff know but they said there's nothing they can do. I barely drink it because it was actually hurting my throat to drink. It was unfortunate that they would not remake the drink or offer to replace it with a different drink.

Let me tell you the girl that works here with short hair I don’t know your name sorry is amazing. They just reopened lines are insanely long we got there at 1 and they close at 3 so I asked will we make it since our number is 48 and there only number 20 she said prob not but come back at 5 and I will let u sit. We came back at five and as she promise she let me in and I totally understand there packed and busy cause of the BOGO. Thank you for exactly service and also always amazing food.
