Such a cute place. I got the smoked salmon liege waffle and the seasonal fall special matcha pistachio latte. The waffle was great, texture and consistency not too chewy or crispy. It paired well with the smoked salmon, dollops of cream cheese and the capers. The latte was also good with bits of pistachio in it which is nice for a textural component.

I have also tried their mochi mini waffles. They were yummy and toasted. And their butterfly pea lemonade was delicious! The staff are also so friendly when I visit and the interior is cute and cozy. Kinda small with not a lot of seating but has a nice atmosphere. I will come back to try many more things especially the soft serve.

Soft serve is super creamy and not too sweet. Ube had a strong coconut flavour. Dubai sundae was amazing, the topping is not very sweet and pairs well with the malt chocolate soft serve. (Picture had double scoop topping)

Checked out Boketto for the first time last night. Tried their seasonal Sundae for the Mid-Autumn festival and then a jasmine/blueberry twist cone. Both were great and I especially liked the tea soft serve (strong flavour and not too sweet). The staff member working last night (9/21/2024) around 9:30pm was awesome! Super friendly and upbeat despite it being close to the end of their shift. The interior space is very nice and I could easily spend time in there catching up with a friend or reading a book. I'll definitely be back for more!

Took a stroll through the river district tonight with the doggo. We drove down here specifically to try this place out. The jasmine ice cream was what gravitated us here.

Both the mid autumn sundae & jasmine twist cones were yummy. But the main highlight of the visit was the service. The girl working tonight was top notch. If she had not mentioned to me that she wasn’t the owner, I would have thought she was. She was well articulative of the menu offerings and was super friendly and smiley the entire time.

The shop was also well maintained and clean. The decor was quite nice as well.

Parking: It’s a big community with lots of towers. Which means lots of guests and visitors that take up a good portion of the parking.

An aesthetic and spacious space for soft serve and boba. I went here for the Vancouver ice cream fest and got the strawberry sundae. It wasn’t anything special but quite small for the price. And unfortunately not filled all the way.

We’ve been loyal customers of Boketto since opening, but we’ve noticed some changes in the quality of the food and drinks recently. While we still enjoy the atmosphere and variety of options, the consistency has started to waver. The flavors aren’t as bold as they used to be and the cup sizes are much smaller. The wait times for 2 drinks or a sundae averages 20+ minutes.

We know how amazing this place can be when everything is on point. We want to continue supporting this shop and hope these are just temporary issues that can be addressed. Looking forward to seeing improvements and hope to return as customers.

Boketto has been on my list to visit for a while... I previously tried their (delicious) hojicha latte at Japan Market and I finally got around to visiting the shop. I got an everything bagel liege waffle w/ dill cream cheese and lots of goodies from the Fall Fest menu: iced pumpkin matcha latte w/ creme caramel purin, pumpkin miso caramel cookie, and pumpkin mini mochi waffles (plus one original waffle).
Everything bagel waffle: This was fun. The presentation with the dollops of cream cheese in each indentation of the waffle is not just nice to look at but also creates a good texture by really highlighting e mouthfeel of the cream cheese.
Pumpkin miso caramel cookie: Delicious! The dollops of pumpkin mixture were like pumpkin pie and the miso added some umami depth.
Pumpkin matcha latte: I love the pumpkin and matcha combo and their matcha is top notch so no surprise that this was great. The creme caramel purin topping was really good too - adds more flavour than plain egg pudding.
Mini mochi waffles: I took these to go and heated them up the next morning, and I was worried the mochi texture wouldn't be good anymore, but it still worked! I'm sure they're even better fresh, but I really enjoyed the gooey mochi texture inside the slightly crispy waffles. Neither the original or the pumpkin was very sweet which was good for me.
In general things are a little on the expensive side but I can say their matcha is definitely top of the line and the waffles and cookie were also pretty impressive, so I felt like I got what I paid for. It was worth the trip to the River District area for sure.

Ordered a Pineapple Tart Sundae - with Jasmine Tea soft serve, pineapple jam, cookie crumble, with a cookie. The tea flavour from the soft serve was pretty strong and nice, but there was not enough topping in my opinion. The cookie also didn't really have any flavour. And like many other reviews have mentioned, the sundae is hollow in the center.

Nice place to hangout and chill. The place was small but very cozy and clean. The staff were very nice and the service was quick.
They have a lot of selections for sundae, hot and cold tea, waffles and MORE.
I got the Oh Affogato Sundae for 8.50CAD and it was good. It wasn’t too sweet and the espresso wasn’t too strong, just perfect.
I love that I was able to stay longer and enjoy the place. They don’t rush you to leave which made it a great place to relax. Will definitely go back again in

Ordered the malt chocolate sundae. Personally for me the dalgona honey comb was not for me. Tasted very burnt and bitter.

Giving food a 2/5 cause I don’t really appreciate the fact that the centre is hallow. $10 for this? Feels steep for such a small size already and it’s hallow in the centre? I do like that they’re open late, great for late night cravings! Their bubble tea is alright. Often tastes watered down. Overly hyped shop.

I really hate leaving negative reviews, and I love that this kind of shop has opened up here. I’ve lived in the RD for 4 years and this is a welcomed addition to the area…BUUUUT the drinks are incredibly inconsistent. The times I have gotten a classic tea flavour (assam, hojicha, etc) I have enjoyed my drink. The tea is strong and the care in preparation is evident. However when I have gotten the fruit flavours, it’s been so awful. I literally took two sips of a peach tea and threw an entirely full drink away. The flavour was sickeningly sweet (even at 50% sugar) and the flavour of the peach mixed with the oolong had a cloying artificial flavour. I will still support this business, and I encourage people to try it for themselves since taste is subjective. But I think I will have to stick to the more boring items for better results.

The best tea shop in this area. We actually went during winter time when they still had limited selection on their menu but the tea latte and bubble tea we got were decent and we are willing to return to try more drinks as well as the ice creams in the future!

The iced matcha strawberry latte definitely lived up to the hype! Loved the fresh strawberry puree mixed with the refreshing matcha delight. Had a taste of the plain mochi waffle, and its crunchy and chewy texture complimented the gooey marshmallowy sweetness of its core. We lucked out with their happy hour deal. Will be back for more!

Love this place and the strawberry matcha is the best! Just gave 4 stars because the hours aren’t the best. They open so late and would make it 5 star if they were open a bit earlier!
