This is the best Brazilian place in Vancouver, the owner is amazing, food is very good and price is reasonable. If you are looking for a taste of Brazil, go there

Nice vibe. We'll have to go for music and food. We had the steak platter for 2 and there wasn't enough meat for 2. The sides except for the cassava was wanting as well. Good service.

We were with a medium sized group and the service was all over the place. it was hard to order a drink as the server didn't come by often and once an order was placed we waited maybe 15mins for a drink to arrive.
Our meals whilst all ordered around the same time came out very very staggered. I assume they're just not used to larger tables and that's fine I guess, however almost everyone in our group commented on the food being very very salty and not very tasty or enjoyable in general.
I ordered a higher price steak dish. Despite ordering rare it took a very long time to come out and was way over salted and very very fatty. I tried my partners dish. Her's was also quite salty and fatty but better than mine.
There was a musician playing quite loudly in the corner. People from our table asked the waiting staff several times if he could bring it down a touch as we were actually shouting to communicate. He didn't seem to get any quieter throughout the night. It was as though he was the main event and we were accidentally at one of those cabaret shows where they serve poorly done food for the masses while you see the show.
After we'd all had enough of this place we got the bills which were surprisingly quite pricey. Everyone seemed taken back by this and commented on it later. The real kicker was that on the bill was also a $6 Music Fee. This was really the tipping point which turned a pretty disappointing dining experience for all into an absolute joke. For the money (roughly $75 for a couple drinks a main, splitting 2 appetizers across the table + music fee (lol) ) i'd recommend going to many other restaurants.
I highly doubt any of our group will return to this restaurant.

On Friday, Nov 21, I arrived for a reservation I had made two weeks in advance for an indoor table for six. When we got there on time, they told us there was no space inside and that we would have to sit on the patio. They asked to see my confirmation email but still offered no apology and no compensation for their “system” mistake.
The owner came over and was just as rude, insisting there was nothing they could do. I honestly can’t believe they didn’t even bother to offer a simple apology. We only stayed because our friends were playing that night, but the experience was extremely disappointing.

Edit: Based on your statement, I am lowering my rating. Because I have never encountered the mandatory 18% tip in more than 100 restaurants, bars or coffee shops I have visited. I wanted to pay more. However, there was a certain amount brought to the table. It was not a matter of choice. The receipt was automatically issued. Also, this was my second receipt. I have paid the tip and the invoice before. I am stating clearly that what you have done violates the rules of courtesy. You will not be included in my recommendations. I will not recommend you to my friends. I will not come back after your statements. You will not be our choice in crowded group meetings.
We went with friends on Sunday. We forgot to make a reservation, which was our fault. I think his name was Victor, and he helped us. We ordered mozzarella balls and smoothies. They were delicious. When paying the bill, I chose the tip. We ordered food towards evening, and we all received our bills, including the 18% tip. I've been to many restaurants before and I've never encountered this. Isn't this a bit rude? I ordered chicken, rice, and fried potatoes. The chicken was very dry, and the rice was Indian-style. This isn't Brazilian cuisine! The food is mediocre for the prices.
This was my first time having Brazilian food, so I have nothing to compare it to, but the food was extremely salty. Like down-your-entire-glass-of-water-every-few-bites salty. Maybe this is what normal Brazilian food is like? The brigadero were tasty though. The service was good and the place was cute, but I don't think I can come back. Just so, so very salty.
