My lunch date & I dined at this place & I was pleasantly pleased with my order. I had the vegan garden bowl & rice (I forgot 2 ask if they had brown rice). My friend had the steak bowl & he commented that the meat was a bit tough but on the whole OK. There's no sit down dining at this place but tables/chairs are available in the common hallway area (this place is a takeout only business). Note: For regular customers, they knew where to line up...so for new customers, the establishment should consider a sign indicating where to line up to order. Points are noted to the serving staff for providing cups of water & delivering them to our table after, we picked up order. Yes, we will try this place again & try the items on the menu.

This is more of a takeout spot but their rice bowls are very tasty. This is a good lunch option in this area, where you get the taste and fullness without spending too much.

My go-to during the week downtown. Healthy, hearty, hasty and tasty, not to mention affordable for the quality and quantity! I dream of the 64 degree egg in the steak bowl. No seating inside but they have reserved chairs in the courtyard and the staff has always been attentive to bring me a little cup of water if I choose to park it last minute, very class. Thanks guys!

Ordered Chicken Teriyaki (specialty of the day) and was really disappointed the chicken had a weird aftertaste, same taste when u reheated something in microwave - not fresh.

The food is good, but I’ve encountered several issues with their online ordering system. We placed a company lunch order before 10 a.m. for a 12:30 p.m. pickup, but received a text at 12:05 p.m. stating that the order wouldn’t be fulfilled. This left us with less than 30 minutes to find alternative food options, which is problematic for large orders.
Additionally, there was another incident where they forgot to include steak in one of the bowls, and we had to make a trip back to the restaurant to correct it. Overall, I would not recommend this place for large or time-sensitive orders.
I tried the eggplant rice bowl and it was amazing! The eggplants were cooked just right, and the bowl was so colorful. I loved how the eggplant felt like meat. I'll definitely come back for more. Highly recommend this dish!
[Update July 10, 2024] So, I've ordered the Roast Beef Bowl this time, and though it wasn't my first time, I'm finally writing a review. The overall experience was pretty good. The portion is just right for one person for lunch, and everything from the beef pieces to the sides and the rice is nice and tasty. My favorite part is still the boiled egg beside the bowl, which adds a really nice and unique touch to the meal. ?
I got the lemongrass pork special rice bowl today. The only thing special about it was how completely dry and boring it was. The meat itself was nice, tender and a decent flavour. But everything else was so basic, dry rice, dry lettuce a little pickle something and some cucumber pieces and that was it. No dressing or sauce to bring it together or to add flavour to the rest. It didn't seem well thought out beyond the meat for a special dish. I wish I'd gone elsewhere for lunch, really disappointed.
