This is a great brewery taproom. Rustic vibe with wide paneling and bar, welcoming helpful staff, great beers and other drinks. You can choose your own beers for a tasting flight, which isn't possible at other taprooms in the neighbourhood. And the food is excellent! The pies are amazingly tasty and very well worth the wait...I had one and had to order another!! And enjoyed another beer in the meantime. Worth a visit and a revisit!

The beer was delicious, the bites hit the spot (mmm, pies), but the staff actually elevated the experience to a super fun and friendly place to grab a pint and relax.

A dozen or so craft brews, but they're damn right awesome. The Blacklight dark is incredibly smooth, not heavy on coffee and cocoa like most darks. The service is great, always with a warm smile. If you're on Main St, haul your a*s to this beer beauty.

I just want to say that I really appreciate that they have all their off sale tall cans as singles. I have been visiting breweries around Vancouver for a project and, as so far, they have the biggest selection.
At one point or another, everyone buys a 4 pack or 6 pack of beer that just isn't their taste. It is great that I can try something new and, if it isn't my taste, it is just one can.
It is also great if you know everyone's favorite so that everyone gets what they really want.

Update: 2024 - this is all still true.

Review 2015: Fantastic beer, no matter what you choose. Quick growler refills, and a nice, tiny, efficient space. Great for a quick beer or two and a chat with a friend.

Beer was pretty good! One of the loudest places I've been to. Service was kind of weird. The lady took our orders and I ordered a jar of pickled veggies to go with my beer. Over 20 minutes passed and I politely asked if it was coming. Lady got defensive and said she hasn't gotten around to it yet. She opened the jar and put it on my table a couple minutes later.

We had all drank multiple rounds of beer and were just hanging out for a few minutes and enjoying chatting and she came and asked if she can bring the bill. I said we were still chatting so not yet. She pretty rudely said "I dont see much activity here" We had all drank multiple rounds of beer and were just hanging out for a few minutes and enjoying chatting.

5 minutes later she just brings the bill anyways. Weird feeling to be pushed out like that! Not very hospitable. Won't come back again due to bad hospitality.

Megan and Koia were wonderful. Beers were great, esp the IPAs. Wonderful staff generally!

The water was nice. Everything else paled in comparison.
I don't know how you make a 7% dry hopped pale taste like Coors Lite, but I guess it's a skill of a kind.
The service was lovely, so there's that.

Easily one of the top 2 breweries in Vancouver. The service is always exceptional (the staff are all very kind and knowledgeable) and the beer is always delicious. Would highly recommend stopping by!
