The pistachio brownie is the best thing in the world.

I ordered a panini and asked them to toast it properly, but the middle was still cold when I got it. It didn’t taste right and was disappointing.

Tarlan is such an asset to the company. I didn’t get my chocolate almond croissant but had a good chat.
My go-to café once a week. Very touched recently when a server greeted me from behind the counter as I entered the store and without even mentioning, had my usual beverage and food item prepared at the till. Great service, great selection of baked items, and good prices relative to other cafe's in downtown Vancouver.

Tucked away just off Bute Street, Vancouver, this branch of Breka has a lively but chilled-out vibe.
The bakery selection is eye-catching and mouth-watering, and complemented with a great range of drinks.
The staff are really polite and there’s plenty of seating in this bright and clean bakery & café. This was a regular stop-off during my recent trip to Vancouver.
Open 24/7. Free wi-fi. Washrooms.

The baked goods were beautiful and scrumptious. The staff however, one individual in particular was quite rude. My husband was about to pay for $60 worth of goods yesterday, and for the loaf of bread he initially ordered unsliced, he changed his mind and asked if they could please have it sliced. Mind you, all the staff has to do is pop the bread into the machine slicer, no big deal.
When my husband nicely asked for the loaf of bread to be sliced, a staff member had very visibly rolled her eyes in annoyance at her coworker at the cashier who also shook her head.

I love Breka Bakery, it's one of my favourite places to go. All their sandwiches and desserts are delicious, and I’ve never had a bad pick. It’s such an easy place to pop into whether I want a quick bite or something sweet. I’m so excited for the new location opening closer to my home, it’s going to be dangerous in the best way.

Probably one of my favorite cafés. So many delicious options for savory and sweet snacks as well as delicious coffees and lattes.
Second time here and they do not disappoint. Personally loved their lavender latte, dark chocolate raspberry scone (warmed up), and Mediterranean chicken panini.

Generous portions for a very affordable price
Nice café that’s open late, which is super convenient. There’s plenty of seating and a good selection of pastries and coffee. The space can feel a bit unorganized and untidy at times, but overall it’s a comfortable spot to hang out or get some work done.

I think breka it pretty solid, they have great prices and to be honest usually all that I’ve ordered is really good, it’s usually full and it’s hard to find place to sit, but order to go is always my option.
