Ordered that weird half pretzel, half croissant.... Being a huge fan of both items, I had to try! It's ok. Unfortunately, the sandwich is quite greasy, which prevented to really taste what could of been the next best thing after sliced bread... Probably the American cheese... for the price though, for an easy breakfast, I'd say it's worth trying. Fast and efficient service. Great location. Avoid the espresso. Undrinkable. Tasted like over extracted filtered coffee.

I came in at 4 am to use the bathroom first and was told by a security guard that I had to buy something first before I could use the bathroom. In other words I had to pay to pee. This is unacceptable, especially as a senior citizen. But it seems like money and profit are still more important than people it would seem. In all fairness the staff here are a really good bunch. However, the security guard enforcing the cafe owner's policy, not so much. On top of that they only have one bathroom for the entire cafe.

Update: I would like to apologize for the error of my ways l. I had misunderstood the $1.20 charge on my beverage was for upsizing to size large.I always receive amazing service at Breka, but the owners should reconsider gouging their customers on their $1.00 cup fee - especially when 20% of the time the take-out cups leak. Not cool, Breka

While I'm impressed with the food and service at this patisserie, I'm dismayed by the lack of consideration for other patrons. Allowing people to occupy tables for three hours without purchasing anything and bringing laptops leaves little space for customers who wish to dine in. This is a significant issue as many individuals opt not to purchase and instead stand to eat. It would be beneficial to address this problem promptly, perhaps by limiting table occupancy time or disabling WiFi to encourage turnover.

By far the easiest Breka to get to by SkyTrain, about a minute walk from the south west Waterfront Canada Line train station entrance. Amazing food and 24/7 like every Breka!

There are many options for both sweet and savory. You can have any meal of the day here. The coffee is also really good.

There are many options for breakfast, lunch or just savoury or sweet snacks. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly.I had the Rueben sandwich, a chocolate donut and a flat white. Everything was delicious and the place has a nice atmosphere. It can get very busy at times but it’s worth it.

Came to Breka for a safe place to hang out while I waited for a late-night ferry sailing. Had a chai pudding and an iced latte. The chai pudding was incredible, the iced latte’s espresso almost tasted burnt (I may have had a bad shot). The cafe is huge, it was incredibly busy at the time I came by but I shared a table with another kind patron.I believe I’ll stop by again if I come across this location or another location when I’m in Vancouver.

The worst Breka branch. Two days ago, while spending time with a group there, I briefly left to drop them off at the SkyTrain station. Upon returning 15 minutes later, intending to stay longer, I wanted to wash my hands before placing another order so I headed to the washroom. However, I was stopped by security who demanded a receipt for entry. Despite explaining that I didn't have a paper receipt (come on it's 2024) I offered to show my credit card log with Breka transactions, but they rudely refused. While I understand the need for security measures (especially late at night), this encounter left a sour impression as a regular customer. Also, service times have noticeably increased in recent months, and the limited seating exacerbates the issue. The only advantage of this branch is its 24/7 availability. Nevertheless, I've decided not to frequent this establishment anymore, despite my overall fondness for Breka. For a better experience, I recommend visiting the nearby Davie branch.

Breka, to me you’ll always be famous. This was the 2nd one I visited and it’s beautiful. Plush seats and very visually appealing. I got the blueberry scone and a normal donut and write this a day later, just having finished eating the donut on my flight. Very soft, not too sweet. It’s just the perfect donut. I will definitely come back the next time I visit Vancouver. How are you able to be open 24/7? Y’all are the real ones.
