Employee was hella rude. Slammed the pickup window on my face. Didn't even ask for the names of the pickup. Most unprofessional behavior I have ever seen from an employee at any restaurant.

Breka Bakery is one of the best locally owned businesses in all of Vancouver, and I really wish they had locations down in Richmond.

The food is always tasty and you really can't go wrong with badically anything on the menu. Staff are very friendly, pleasant to speak to, and quick to answer long lines.

It's hard to get a seat at Breka, you're usually better off getting a bite to go. But if you manage to get one you can rest and relax and enjoy the 24/7 hours they have.

I used to really like Breka but with it becoming more popular it is losing its service and quality.No space to wait in line, pushy customers (no fault of the staff, they actually look overworked) and lack of warm environment, who likes shiuting their order without being able to see the menu or items first then handed a number. Not accesible for people with hearing impairments.Asked if lard was used in baked goods and was treated like I was bizarre to inquire.Not halal friendly or veggie. Is their lard or alcohol (vanilla) in the baking? We just skipped the baked goods.Starting to feel like a cafeteria.
As for the Iced Oatmilk Hedgehog Mocha it was warm and very mid.

Yesterday, had a really bad experience at this outlet. Ordered a Red velvet cake. But after paying, my friend said he got the cake. So the one I bought was extra, and not required.

I asked for a refund. I didn’t even touch it. The employee just took the cake from the fridge, packed it, and kept it on counter. They denied the refund. Don’t know why. Never ever going back.

Always love getting tea or coffee and having chats here. But the real star of the show is the bienenstich cake. Crispy almonds glazed with sugar on top with bread textured cake and custard and whipped cream in betwee— the perfect afternoon treat. The grilled cheese is also lovely after a night out

Choc. Eclair: 9/10 fresh, chocolate tasted nice and wasn't too sweet.
Dulce De Leche Donut: 8/10 fresh, a bit too sweet for my liking.
Apple Fritter: 6/10 big and fresh, but tasted more like deep fry than apple or cinnamon.
Iced Americano was good, but the vanilla cold mousse I got on it had zero flavour. Just tasted like cream.

Always a must visit when coming to Vancouver. Their pastries and desserts are out of this world!! I always crave their sandwiches and make it a point to go him with a few. Finally got to try a cream puff pastry and it did not disappoint!

I had a disappointing experience with one of the staff members at this location. It felt like I was bothering her just by ordering. I usually enjoy Breka, but this interaction left a bad impression. A little courtesy goes a long way.

We recently stayed in Vancouver for a few days and were recommended Breka by our Airbnb host. Went everyday, wish we had one back home, didn't have a bad bite from them, sweet or savoury! 10/10, great apple fritter.
