Breka Bakery & Cafe - Denman

Breka used to be my favourite place for late night snacks especially their donuts. Now no location seems to make their products in store because late night donuts don't seem to be available. Maybe if you're not going to have them 24 hrs like your hours take the advertising board that says 24/7 on a background of donuts down. That makes idiots like me think you're going to have donuts 24/7. Last time I've wasted my time with this location. The chain has out grown it's ability to supply it's stores.

I thought I threw away something important in the garbage by mistake, so I called this store to see if I can find it. Veronica helped me with the whole thing, she even dumpster dived with me to help. I appreciate the help very much. Thank you!!!!

This is now my go to bakery whenever I visit Vancouver. The Denman location is open 24 hours and has pastries, tea, coffee and sandwiches. We got desserts, tea and breakfast to go for the next morning. Everything was delicious - they also have vegan chocolate cake! I am looking forward to trying their sandwiches on my next visit. They also have their own app for delivery or pickup. We did have to wait a while for a table that would sit 3 of us. Unfortunately one person was occupying a 4 person table even though there were 2 person tables nearby.

Terrible café with absolutely awful customer service. The staff are rude, unprofessional, and don’t even bother to listen when you order. No greeting, no thank you, no respect for customers at all. It feels like they hate their job and don’t care about people. I would never come back here and I strongly recommend others to stay away.

This was one of the worst café experiences I’ve had. The staff were rude, careless, and did not listen when taking my order. No greeting, no thank you, and no basic manners. It felt like they simply didn’t care about customers at all. Very unprofessional and unacceptable service—I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Went to a different Breka the night before and loved it, so we decided to come to this one for breaky the next day. The breaky selection is great, good ingredients, well prepared, and the place just feels cozy (despite being very busy). The staff are actually pretty quick to get you everything, but not so quick that you end up with a mess. I appreciate the work these people do. I will definetly come back next time I'm in the area.
