Great atmosphere! We sat at the bar. Super service & conversation from Elliot! Had a delicious vegan and gluten free burger! Will be back again next time I visit Vancouver!

Great staff and service. Fun vibe and a good setup for seating. I love popping in here when I want to have a beer, and I’m so happy to have a place like this in my neighborhood.

Came here for my friends birthday, it was a group of 20 of us and we had an absolute blast! Mint served us and was so kind and bubbly. Her personality was fantastic but she was also incredibly efficient. Everyone was well taken care of and always had a fresh drink. An empty plate or glass never lasted more than a minute before it was cleaned up. Thank you so much Mint!!!

(2 stars – one for the bartender, one for the ghost of Purple Paradise)
We woke up in Seattle this morning with a dream. A noble dream. A purple dream.
That dream was Purple Paradise Ube Coconut Sour: quite possibly the greatest sour beer ever created by human hands. Tart. Tangy. Tropical. Ube. Toasted coconut. Vanilla. It tastes like Maui and Willy Wonka collaborated on a kettle sour.
So what did we do? We drove to Vancouver. International border crossing. Gas. Parking. The whole thing. Why? Because Brewhall’s website - under the “Beer Store” section - clearly lists Purple Paradise as a to-go option. We planned to buy eight 4packs and heroically smuggle (legally) joy back to Seattle.
We arrive. We walk in. We approach the bar with the reverence of pilgrims.
And that’s when the bartender gently informs us:
“Oh… we stopped brewing beer this summer. It wasn’t profitable.”
Reader, it is February 2026
Let me be clear: the bartender was fantastic. Truly. She was kind, apologetic, and when she learned we drove from Seattle specifically for this beer, she gave us a free Jello shot as a peace offering. Absolute pro. Five stars for her.
But management?
You cannot be called Brewhall and quietly stop brewing beer. That feels like Subway announcing they no longer do sandwiches. If brewing wasn’t profitable, fine - capitalism is undefeated - but maybe update the website? Perhaps remove the beer from the online store? Especially the one that causes grown adults to cross international borders.
The real tragedy here is Purple Paradise itself. This wasn’t just a seasonal sour. This was a masterpiece. If brewing it wasn’t profitable, sell the recipe. License it. Let another brewery carry the torch. Do not let that level of ube coconut genius fade into obscurity because spreadsheets said no.
Today we drove to Vancouver for beer that no longer exists.
We left with a Jello shot and a broken heart.
Brewhall, please update your website.
And if you’re not going to brew beer… maybe consider a rebrand to “Hall.”
RIP Purple Paradise. You were too tropical for this world. 💜🍺

One of our favorite spots to go in Olympic village. The new menu has options for everyone and the revamped pizzas are to die for (funky cheese is the best). All the staff are amazing and on point when it comes to service. We are normally at the bar and the bartenders are engaging and always ready to refresh your bevvys. Special shout out to Maddy, Matt, Christine, Malcom, Elliot, MG, Danielle, Gab and Lizette for their amazing skills behind the bar!! The GM Pat is always around to help customers and staff alike. Definitely worth a stop in if you’re in the area.

First time visit. Great service. Very tasty food (veggie burger, tacos). Very reasonably priced. Off to BMO Theatre afterwards — a great pairing for a theatre night.
The food was excellent and the service was outstanding but the tap for the beer I wanted was broken, so I had to choose another beer I wasn't very happy with. It would also be great if there were more wine choices. But overall, I was really happy and impressed with my dinner.
Had a blast watching the Seahawks win the NFC championship. Great margaritas and beer. Gave away cool Seahawks merch. The atmosphere is most excellent. I would defs come back! CR
I had looked at the website and specifically chose this place as they listed multiple sour beers both on draft and in the store to purchase. When we arrived, we were disappointed to find that there were no sour beers available and the the website was out of date.
