We visited Bridges Tap and Barrel on Sunday July 13. I had made a reservation for seven people on OpenTable. I expected to be seated at the reservation time since I arrived to the restaurant on time and when we arrived, we were not seated for 15 minutes. Instead, we were taking from table to table as the hostess had no idea where to see us even though the restaurant was half empty. I was traveling with a guest from Toronto, who recently had knee surgery so it was difficult for him to go up and down the stairs several times. I explained this to the host, but he dismissed our concerns. There was no apology for this. Once we were seated, our server was quick to get our drinks and food orders placed. We enjoyed the food but just wish that our experience at the beginning was much better. I would recommend the halibut cakes and the veggie falafel burger.

Terrific Sunday brunch with good friends. Excellent server and great vibe. Patio seating on a sunny day can't be beat.

A lovely evening with great food and very attentive service. Watching the world go by from the top deck was a highlight to our time in Vancouver

Very good service on a busy saturday night this summer. Reservation enabled us to get right in. Food was tasty, and changes to menu items were embraced. Great go-to place anytime

One of the nicest patios around. Tap and Barrel has a brunch menu on weekends which is when I went. It's limited but you have the main menu you can order off of which gives you lots of non breakfast options. The food was tasty and the view from the patio on a sunny day just enhances the experience. If you're a visitor to Vancouver, definitely something you should do as it's located in one of Vancouver's must see tourist spots, Granville Island.

We had a great dining experience; everything from the food to the service was wonderful. They gave us an amazing table with a stunning view over the marina at Granville Island. Honestly, it's one of those places in Vancouver that people sometimes forget about just because it's been around forever, but it's still fabulous. The little touches made it extra special, desserts for the celebrants and even handwritten cards. Very thoughtful and appreciated. Worth a visit (or revisit!).

We booked a specific table upstairs and asked for it. They took us to a totally different table in the bar when there was another similar table to what we asked for two tables down I pointed that out, and they took us in there. He think that with a reservation requesting a specific table which was already booked for a larger party I understand they would've given us an alternate table 2 doors or two tables down the food was excellent. The service is great. I love it great atmosphere awfully loud but what the heck that's the way it is beautiful view.

We sat outside on the deck with a beautiful view. The service was outstanding. One person had a shellfish allergy and they took no exception to accommodating this. My favorite hummus!

Profesional non intrusive service. Food was delivered quickly and hot. Not trying to up sell me anything. You obviously train your staff well.

Patio was big and shady with lots of umbrellas and beautiful view of the Granville Island marina and downtown Vancouver. Really enjoyed our Happy Food and the excellent service from our waiter Matt. Seafood platter felt substantial as we were 4 people eating the 2 person platter.

We ordered a non-alcoholic Riesling, but were given a bubbly grapefruit drink instead. When we asked about it, both our server and another one insisted it was correct—even though it clearly wasn't the same drink. They mentioned the place had switched companies and said this was “still the same Riesling,” which it definitely wasn't. It felt like there was a real lack of product knowledge, and it was frustrating to be told we were wrong instead of just being informed that the original drink wasn't available anymore. Just a heads-up that better training or clearer communication would really help in situations like this.

Can't beat that patio and atmosphere on a sunny summer night. Wait staff were excellent. Food fine Prices are elevated but so is everywhere!

Overall great experience but disappointed in size of mussels - very small but broth was very tasty.

Amazing as always! Fabulous server (Analika I believe? Spelling?) Amazing food, tried a new seafood item. Delish guac. Love, love, love the three smaller size wine option! A winner. Spectacular location outside.
