Just dropped by their new location, and wow—what a glow-up! The new layout and décor are absolutely stunning—modern, inviting, and still keeping that cozy Italian charm.
This place has always had a great rep, and it’s clear they’re still holding strong. The food? Still generous and delicious, with every dish on the menu calling your name. Service remains warm and polite, making the whole experience feel like a little escape to Italy.
Also, don’t sleep on their breakfast—it’s top-notch. And for what you get, the prices are very reasonable. Safe to say, they’ve nailed the upgrade. I’ll definitely be back (again)!
Hosting loud parties on Sunday mornings is Really disrespectful to the local community (blasting really loud techno music for several hours on a Sunday morning)! I hope you consider that there are many people that live close by who don’t appreciate hearing that on a Sunday morning.
Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Afternoon or Dinner-BRIOCHE Ristorante never disappoints. The fresh onsite prepared food and deserts are beyond the 5-stars, their staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Recently they had a coffee event with some music-which made me feel special. Oh, did I mentioned coffee(?)- probably one of the best you ever had in Vancouver! ...I have been back more than once.
Love the new space. Delicious bennies and omelettes with decent portions. Our server Stefan was amazing. Will definitely be back:)
We were introduced to Brioche during a food tour while visiting Vancouver from the USA. We enjoyed the food so much that we went back for dinner later during our stay, and we weren't disappointed! I highly recommend it!
Had a great time at the coffee party—amazing atmosphere, tasty pastries, and lovely staff. Thank you!
The service quality is very good
The food is nice
The waitress provided the best service ever, and treated us free dessert
I came here to try the brunch and was immediately impressed by the gorgeous layout of the restaurant. There are plenty of windows and dim lit interior which sets an intimate and enchanting mood. They also have a selection of desserts and baked goods by the entrance.
The brioche breaky croissant was honestly the best stuffed croissant I’ve ever had. The cream sauce and combination of three cheeses baked was delicious.
The French toast unfortunately fell a bit short of expectations. I was hoping for it to come more dressed with toppings, though it only was served with some fruits and jam. If you’re someone that prefers more a plain and clean dish though this would be great.
The pistachio latte was amazing, I like that all the pistachio frosting and chunks were on the rim so you could decide your sweetness for each sip.
I’ll be totally honest here, I was eating here pretty consistently. The food can be hit-or-miss, but I had a favourite dish and they’re close to me. This morning, however, they decided to throw some insane “coffee party” with a bouncer and a DJ and a bunch of rowdy partying, at ten AM. When dining there, it is almost always empty, and they’re essentially just an Italian restaurant - so it’s beyond me whose genius marketing decision it was to alienate all the local folks who actually eat there to try and bring in new business via the type of party that doesn’t even suit your target demographic. Being woken up at 10 AM by club music that is shaking my walls, calling to ask them to turn it down, and them doing nothing about it - all indicates that the owner of this place not only doesn’t seem to understand what’s good for his business, but doesn’t care about the community he operates in or the people who actually eat at his restaurant - which I will definitely never do again.
What a cute gem of a restaurant we stumbled upon while looking for a place to eat near the waterfront! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the food was really good. I had the squash ravioli with carbonara sauce, and it was the perfect blend of flavors. My friends enjoyed the eggplant pasta they had, and we all agreed that the tiramisu covered in chocolate was the perfect way to end the meal.
Overall, it was a great experience – great food, friendly service, and a charming vibe. Definitely a spot we’ll be returning to!

Absolutely exquisite! This is a very casual concept but the food quality is outstanding and I was very surprised at the quality for the price point. My steak and eggs were served with a wonderful mushroom reduction and the beautiful presentations are far beyond what you'd expect. Italian-owned with an in-house French pastry chef so I believe it could be considered Italian French fusion or pan European.

The breakfast food was so so good! More filling then you think too! But what really stole the show was the AMAZING service, they were very attentive and helpful!
Grab one of their croissants, they are really big and so fresh and delicious.
